You don't know what prompted all lane being closed? Usually that means there was a fatality.

state patrol did not release further information. they can't speculate, so it seems the reporter is being circumspect and accurate.

True, but near Tacoma back in August there was a terrible accident where a motorcyclist was killed, no total lane closure.

@patricias5122 The videos they played did show a lot of odd police activity, and there is probably a lot more to this story. I just wish they would be this careful on other news reports, but that's for another subject.

A WSP trooper died in this crash. Arlington PD has already announced it. A driver on I-5 just before the crash said the trooper was speeding past other vehicles (going well over 90 mph) with no lights or sirens

I believe you misheard or they relayed the wrong info. The trooper was parked on the side of the freeway and a 32 year old man traveling at a high rate of speed veered off the road and struck the troopers car while the officer sat inside. Then another vehicle then struck the vehicle that caused the accident, only the trooper died.

Way to waste thousands of tax payer dollars.. it’s a sad thing to happen but the caravan on tax payers money is unacceptable.. they don’t respond like that when a civilian passes in an accident they are not royalty reports of officer driving reckless right before this happen so what actually happen??
