Not bad choice but mixed in to high. Shouldn't drown out the beautiful engines.

My grandfather flew and instructed in the PBY and PBY5A during and post war, those were amazing aircraft, and still are. Even better than the Tomcats I worked on.

That was awesome! I took a lot of video at Tanglefoot, but seeing the same things from this completely different angle was very cool. I got a rush almost like when I saw it the first time!
This was a GREAT video. Absolutely beautiful. I have been flying since 1955, but this is the first time I have actually seen a PBY (and N3N on floats) take-off from water. Keep 'em flying, guys. Not many left.

I helped with some work on an N3N at the Warhawk air museum in Nampa Idaho a few years back. Such a neat airplane. Didn't think I'd ever see one on floats. What a treat that must be for a ride.

I saw a beautiful Yellow NCN on floats pulled up a ramp next to a great cabin while cruising the sunshine coast of BC about 25 years ago. All I could think of was "Lucky Bastard" I would be surprise if this wasn't the same one

The video work and photography were gorgeous, majestic and epic. Like a Rolls Royce, it does not need flame decals on the top and sides of the hood, and political/New Age stickers all over it, or as applicable to this video, music.

From the thumbnail picture I couldn't tell if I was going to watch a video about airplanes in full size or in 1/72th scale. Great film work! Are the aerial shots done by drone?
@clooktout3 ай бұрын
Why the music, two radial engines on 'song' is a major part a real enthusiast enjoys on an aircraft of such vintage in motion....... just saying!!!

I agree but with "mute" on, it was perfect.
@scottfw71693 ай бұрын
@@jimw1615 For me it would achieve that perfect by having the normal and natural engine and environmental sounds, but, hey, at least the audio isn't the electric motor whine of the drones, that would cause instant dumping of the video.
@maxj09303 ай бұрын
Amen! Radial engine sounds are the most soothing music.
