I've had this happen to me just now. Yet, I didn't get a scam call, it only said the phone number was unavailable. I highkey, lowkey, midkey, sidekey was freaked out because it stayed for 2 minutes as I wanted to see if there was more to the call.

I'll never fall for it. Why? I don't give any my actual mobile number or use it for outgoing calls where it can be captured and end up in a database. I also have the Google Voice service and only give out that number so if my cell app rings instead of GV, it's a call I don't need to answer. If they spoof the 1st six numbers that GV uses, they will get a voice challenge and what the call is regarding before the call connects and from the transcript, I can either pickup or drop the call.
