Some people having teething issues with their machine but Nokta Makro will fix them. Yep a uk beach in October... slim pickings

I realize it has an ion battery can you replace it yourself once it goes bad or do you have to send it back to the factory

South Coast Detecting If you use an external power pack would it still be waterproof I don’t think so I have a portable VHF radio that goes on your life vest that the lithium ion battery has gone bad West Marine-don’t make the battery for it no more so now it’s garbage $200 down the drain Won’t make the same mistake This metal detector appears to be made in Turkey

Ground balance in Beach mode then switch it over to field mode and use that on the beach. (always ground balance in beach mode first)

What mashine is better and more serious? Is it worth changing racer 2 to simplex? Will I not regret it later on? What are your thoughts? Thanks

Honestly... I wish I had this machine a few years ago when I had access to better land. It’s a very simple but powerful machine, the tones can be a bit rough on the ears but they grab your attention and you know when you’ve got a target. After a few hunts you start to learn the tones and VDI numbers and hunting with it is enjoyable. For £279 this fully waterproof wireless detector is worth getting.

I’m sorry you feel that way Peter, but when you get given a machine to try out ( a machine youve waited over a year for) you use it. I’m not doing anything different with the channel than I did when I first started with the Garrett. I wasn’t sponsored by Garrett but I wore the hat, I used the machine, I showed the settings, talked about depth, coils, tips.... everything I did then I still do. The only difference is the machine. Nothing has changed.
