8K repair bills.... If you have a proper run and get at least 2 bases, then you recoup the cost.... But AB wise, 6K is way too high, you would need a premium account to get the 2 Bases in AB to let ypu profit.

That's a major problem with people intercepting bombers in this game in all nations. I dont understand why people dont use the actual tactics used during the war of just coming down really fast from above, especially considering half the non jet bombers like to just sit at around 3000-5000 meters, depending on the map

@@weeb3244, try that on a Me264... Just try, vs a German Bomber with MG151/20s as defensive weapons, the safest spot ends up being anywhere without a German Mineshell dispenser (on the Me 264 bomber, the belly, which will probably require a great Stall climber interceptor)

@@weeb3244 Tell me about it, I took the Hallifax B Mk IIIa out in a few RB matches, and I got an average of 2 fighter kills per match because people underestimate getting shot at by 4 machine guns under player control, and the defensive armament isn't that good. The 7.7 may lack punch, but like small wounds, they do add up when you make enough of them.

This thing is still fun even after the Nerf. I think it's still worth the buy. Tip in using the 288: Use MEC. It will save you in situations where one of the engines is either dead or damaged.

BTW, this is one of the things WG does better than Gaijin. Premiums are never directly nerfed. When they are inderectly nerfed (Like the Kutuzov and Belfast) they offer Doubloons if you want to return them.

I have a better reason Napalm. The people want easy to play and less skill for a Tank/Plane. So that they can just do little to no skill to get a kill. For example (As we all know P-47) it has 6 50. Cal. And they just spam then,involving little skill. Now that's also where everyone says "Germany Suffers" in WT because little to no skill players cry. Despite the British been Nerfed and actually been weak whit both planes and tanks (looking at 10.0) I still manage to balance the teams for using my skill and knowledge whit my British tanks. "Beating all the odds" Now I don't get angry if a vehicle gets nerfed performance wise as it will be playable. But finance wise it's getting to the point of boiling over. Ever saw the most expensive repair cost of a tank? Yes it's the Abr.....Challenger 1 Mk.3. Or at least it was,untill gaijin changed it.

No one plays a B29, He177 and other aircraft that got UNPLAYABLE due to repair costs as the repair cost is a FUCK YOU if you ever get shot down (and as if there's no aircraft of any sort that CAN AND WILL intercept them eventually and lead the aircraft to it's demise, nice poor russian Joke Gaijin), if the Repair STILL punishes a player that did EXTREMELY well while using said vehicle, it's time to actually revise the cost. A higher repair cost must be a heavier punishment FOR NOT PLAYING well, not something to KILL the usage of one specific vehicle, that's the fuckery Gaijin CANNOT comprehend or so it seems. For me, i would make repair cost be balanced in a way that it should go no higher than 5% the most average, No premium Account, profit from using said vehicle, plus the adjustments need to happen at least once per month or once each two months, just so vehicles can be properly adjusted in repair prices before a pike in SL grind happens.

Sorry dude, but now the only reason to pick this thing over the He177 is the Premium bonuses. He is now barely faster than the 177. Yes, more maneuverable, but the 177 has nearly twice the bomb load.

The point is being more effective. The Ju 288c compensated the lower bombload with speed, maneuverability and a lower BR. Now 2 of those are gone, you go a bit over 600 kph in a shallow dive and your wings are gone. There is no point in playing this plane again.

You may get some sl in rb (just because you can be more sneaky) but go ahead and give it a try in ab and you will see. The big perk of this bomber back in the day was it's speed but in it's current state there is not enough speed for it to help.

The HE 111 series was THE BEST bombers in the game prior to the addition to the JU-288, HE 177, and ME-264 the H-6 has a "Stinger" that I use (20mm cannon). People just blow off the H-6 as a piece of shit, I remember having my left engine destroyed and half my crew killed in a match and having a fucked up tail. it's a flying armored tank and you just need to learn how to play.
