Iga just didn't dominate in the way, in which she did in 2022. That's why people think that she made bad season. For me she made a great season, in terms of consistency. The way she had only one early round loss for the WHOLE season (Tokyo) is exceptional! The fans just pay attention only to the titles and winning streaks, but not to the consistency of the players, which is the key thing in sport like tennis.

If someone gets depressed by someone and have no positive thoughts at all - is no choice but change surrounding. My opinion The couches can work for someone or not at all further… Iga has hard time, injuries, recovery etc and losing games wich she win, some depression etc. But on the end of the season she finally found herself.

Even though it is a little tougher season in accordance with 2022, she has lucidly enhanced her adaptability, compliance and motion on the pitch. Currently, Iga Swiatek definitely demonstrates the most robust female tennis competitor of the world during the open era. I am certain that she will keep nurturing her personal aspects and maintaining her steadiness within this phase. It was really a fabulous season on the behalf of Polish tennis player.

Amazing display of superiority over other top players. Iga is the queen, and even though she slightly underperformed in other slams, she still ends up on top. Can't wait to see her hopefully winning AO! Ah, and to American sport press: where are you now with your "new Serena" Coco Gauff and the other overhyped headlines like "The Void Serena Williams Left in Tennis..." blah blah. For the past 2 years, it's very clear who the new Serena is. 3 GS, 2 times #1 end of year, last year's 37 win streak, this year's bagel record, WTA Finals 20 games lost record, dominance on Roland Garros, etc... And, to be very clear, I do respect Gauff, she had a great season (although even though she won quite some tournaments, let's be honest, she did not dominate any of these in a manner Iga did) and she will still massively improve, so in 1, 2, 3 or so years she may become "the new Serena' and maybe she will reverse her 1-9 H2H, but in 2023 it's just ridiculous to put claims like this. I think it's even inappropriate towards other players (in this case, Iga) who do deserve such hype much more

That was a perfect tournament performed by 1GA. Her dominance was unquestionable. As was in Paris 2020. 1GA- mistrzyni mistrzyń. Doczekaliśmy się złotej dziewczyny w Polsce. I cieszy, że sympatyczna Jess znalazła się w finale, gdzie w mowie końcowej potrafiła pokazać klasę, jak na dziewczynę z klasą przystało. Brawo, brawo i jeszcze raz brawo. Jedynie te pory oglądania tych meczów niekoniecznie pasują polskim kibicom. Ale raz na rok można się trochę poświęcić.

Może nie będę do końca obiektywny, jestem wielkim fanem Igi. Fantastyczny turniej WTA Finals 2023, chyba tylko RG 2020 był bardziej spektakularny ze względu na wiek i pozycję w rankingu. Momentami wydawać by się mogło, że to jakiś turniej WTA500, wróciła kosmiczna forma i oby utrzymała się co najmniej do AO2024. 1GA - w trybie Conan :D
