WTF are Zwift and Wahoo up to?

Zwift is arguably the best of the apps, most fun, most amount of content but MyWhoosh is pretty close. The graphics are less fun (mostly desert maps) but other than that it's pretty much up to the same standard.

A fluid roller, power meter and music is all I need for a good workout.

the zwift hub one works really well so easy to shove the bike on and go, no issues with cassettes

Rouvy for example is much better for riding courses in my opinion. Zwift is better for workouts, though.

Rouvy is on the POS list, they offered a lower price for their subscription but wouldn't offer it to me. So I cancelled, then re-joined to get the new price but they never honored it. But I'm still on it, because Zwift - I can't stand the AI/animation. Thankfully winter never arrived and most days I'm outside riding.

You didn't mention that both Tacx and Rouvy are both owned by Garmin. I think the collab with Zwift and Wahoo is a clever one especially with Wahoo's new running machine coming out. Wouldn't suprise me if they merged tbh....Zwahoo...😂...

The ceo of Wahoo came out and said they're keeping everything open source so they could work with any virtual app. He also said Garmin is huge and they have no hopes of overthrowing Garmin. Y'all should probably watch that interview he did with DC Rainmaker.

Peleton has high operating costs paying instructors for content. Zwift is much more scalable. Needs to monetize more real estate in game.

Peloton has always been massively overrated, non smart spinning bike for 2k and classes at £40 per month, bike and smart trainer far better value

If you take your bike and go outside, there is this really cool simulation of reality. The only thing missing is group riding which ended when people started getting cell phones.
