A rare occasion of which we get to see how the developer/animator(s) animates a cutscene/scene in a much easier way. Here is an in-depth explanation (sort of): here we see how the end scene of subnautica was made which shows an example of something I myself like to call, an illusion scene. Basically, the animator animates the scene in a way that makes it look like the object the player is inside is moving when in reality, the player and object didn’t move at all. This “illusion” is done by animating everything outside of the object the player is in, instead of moving the object itself. We can see a lot of this happening in this clip here but I will only explain some things in it to keep this short. The one big thing that is easily noticeable is the planet that we were just on outside of the rocket window. In order for the animators to animate this without the player seeing anything below was by making it so the rocket model only allows us to see what is above/ in front of it.

Makes sense. All the Ghost Leviathans around the crater edge are warping space constantly because that's how we get the raw materials for Warp Tunnels. We actually made the Precursors to develop these further and Kharaa was designed to keep the Precursors in a perpetual state of desperation so they wouldn't work out how to Warp effectively. Unfortunately it turns out there's more than one way to warp faster than lightspeed and we're going to find the protagonist from Below Zero on trial for humanity's crimes in an Ace Attorney spinoff.

Reminds me of super adventure box in Guild Wars 2 where there's a section where you ride a raft down some rivers and waterfalls, but since the physics engine tech they had at the time didn't have anything built to have moveable ridable platforms, they just made the entire stage move around the raft and there are videos of people who managed to get off the raft whilst another player rode it showing the whole area rotating around wildly.
