The A-10s Maingun alone Halves the thrust of the aircraft. This Will definitely make enough thrust to not only cancel the engines entirely, but perhaps even go +1 Mach in reverce. @grayfox9869

@@SoloWing88 as long as Bugisoft focus on milking Assasin's Creed and Treating The Division as the Only Tom Clancy's franchize title, I doubt we'll see any H.A.W.X. 3, specially since Assault Horizon pretty much stomped H.A.W.X. 2 and that is consideres the worst title of the Ace Combat franchize due to the multiplayer mostly and in minor part that the story didn't happend in Stragereal.

That's literally what it reminded me of. Good times playing those online lobbies and Co-Op with the Vulcan canons, favorite times. It was pretty much one of the things done right with gameplay.

The amount of recoil that will give the plane will stall it instantly... heck, might even make it fly backwards.

Realistically, the A-10’s gun has recoil equivalent to half of its total engine thrust, and firing 8 of them would make you fly backwards at 3x its intended speed

Y'know, One day I saw some actual pilots playing a combat simulator, and arguing that the A-10 Warthog was actually a BEAST in dogfights, because it's wings allowed it to go slow and it was tanky AF... This is just the next step.

It has really bad thrust, though, so it wouldn’t regain energy very quickly in a fight. That, and it’s top speed is lower than a lot of WWII fighters.
