is this video outdated already? in 4.24 I cannot get the events in the event graph. I tried to set up the notifies in the animation, the montage and no matter how much I try, they don't show up. EDIT: Ok, I create anim notify blueprints and tried to use them but in the video, you used skeletal anim notify by right clicking the animation graph. That's why.

Yeah something ain't right. I'm using 4.24 too. I'm following a tutorial to put dust fx when my player steps. In the tutorial they did the same as he did at 9:42. They simply clicked on the notifies they created and a side notify menu popped up. The only side menu popping up is the trigger settings menu, and category menus. All I need is access to the attach name so I can assign my newly created bone attachment for the particle fx. Now its gonna take me hours searching all over the place cuz hey whats the big deal in moving one lil menu. Jeez!

I was attempting to use Anim Notify for attacks (basic and combos - basically everything) with a line trace. However, people are saying Anim Notify is tied to the framerate (tick or whatever, apologies for my noob-ness). Would Anim notify be a bad way to implement combat because it's tied to framerate? Thank you SO much for the answer!

this is so outdated, nothing matches in the ui there is no add anim notify event menu
