I've not tried the multiplayer yet and I'm not sure what he meant by asynchronous play, but the campaign has been a blast. It does seem like it'll be short but I received it with my Twitch Prime account at no cost. Hard to beat that.

"Are there any faults with it?" ... well, it's a board game, but doesn't come with rules. This video helps but there's still tons of questions that a simple rulebook included in the game would have answered. You basically have to just blunder ahead and use trial and error to figure out all the nuances. And until then, you lose games in PvP because they'd already figured those things out. A pretty good game, but this is a huge flaw they should fix. Also, he's referencing "the tutorial" a lot, but there really isn't a tutorial. You just have to play the campaign and it semi-sort-of teaches you as you go along. If there was a separate "Tutorial" option besides Skirmish and Campaign that taught the actual game play, this would be MUCH better than trying to integrate the Tutorial into the Campaign.
