@@stanleybochenek1862 depends on how much you have played or if your good at shooting games but it's definitely a lot harder than the other difficulties cause you can't fast travel, you can only save by sleeping in beds, a ton of legendary enemies as well as harder npc and they are all better equipped and so on so forth. But it's definitely a fun time and you can experience lots of other fun stuff 😂.

I built a Sentry Bot with Assaultron legs... accidentally assigned it to a supply line. A month or two later I encountered the bot on its supply route and almost shit my pants... totally forgot I built it.

When i get to the point in the game where i unlock pretty much all the automatron parts i actually build 1 bot for each settlement around a hub settlement. I use them instead of settlers for my supply lines to go to my main hug settlement in that area. I .als sure to give them the best armor and rangle weapon upgrades. I actually remember in my first run of Fallout 4 I was exploring around close to Fallons department store. It eas night time and out of nowhere a big group of Rust Devils jumped me ou to of nowhere. Oddly enough the road i was near was one that one of my supply lines took. Just so happened shortly after i was jumped the robot i has assigned thst supply line to was walking by. It was a assultron that was duel weilding auto laster rifles. It aided me very well.

It's the area near Greentop Nursery, heading toward The Slog. You come across some wrecked trucks being guarded by an assaultron and a Mr Gutsy. If you run backwards you might alert Breakheart Banks, occupied by super mutants, and if you try to run past as I did once I ran into a nest of mirelurks, or sometimes there is a deathclaw waiting. Such a happy place. I leave that spot for a higher level and when I'm feeling particularly mean (as in "Die! All of you, die!", and they do, then it is happy times.).

@@Micha-wb9oz not the DLC. The satellite array near County Crossing is nasty: lots of super mutants on the ground and high up, some with rocket launchers. Lots more than a raiding party. And they can see you coming from a good distance. Even with the Overseer Guardian (the best weapon of all I think) it is a challenge, I prefer to do it in power armour, something I rarely do. I don't use the armour if I am over level 30, but that is just my preference. I tend to get bored when I am near level 50. I have one character at level 70+ and I carry deliverer, alien blaster, overseer guardian, and the last minute (maxed out Gauss rifle from Ronny Shaw). The Gauss rifle is to kill mirelurk queens. That with maxed better criticals, critical bank, rifleman, bloody gore... take down queen health by 95% with one shot. So goood, but too easy at times. :)

Assaultrons always give me heavy anxiety. I think it's their inability to sit still. You get used to NPCs standing still, taking pop shots at you, so when you see something that can't feel pain running directly towards you with intent to kill, things can get a little intense.

Yes, just moments ago, I encountered a legendary one after killing a legendary mirelurk(playing one level below survival difficulty). I think it took me 5 tries to get them both. Oh and the disappointment when I looted the two legendary corpses only to find some crappy armor that might get me 70 caps each... I want some more never-ending guns for all that effort! Lol

Which one? there are 3 IIRC One in Salem, one in the basement of a medical center and the one in the Boston Mayor Shelter. Deathclaws are pretty easy tho in FO4 VATS defense+lone wanderer+ballistic weave. You can tank a lot of damage and just shoot tf out of its belly. Use a plasma pistol and you win everytime.

I remember my first assaultron encounter, I was LV 3 and as soon as I saw the super laser and the fact it was practically immune to my 10mm I bolted, holstering the gun so I'm faster, accidentally lead it to a deathclaw and hid while they fought eachother, deathclaw won and it's health got so low I managed to kill it with my 10mm, honestly just taking an instant xp gain from a low health deathclaw

I walked my butt to far harbor at lvl 6, no mods all vanilla on V. Hard, needless to say I got reckt many times so I traveled back to the commonwealth to gather some caps and power armor, was completely doable just go back and go to Acadia asap to buy sergeant ash, bow travel back to commonwealth and hit up Saugus ironworks to stock up on flamer fuel, you can either pickpocket it from the forged or just killed them easily with .44s and loot the bodies for it kneecapper flamer ready for Swan and other high level enemies

Im an experienced fallout player and i like easy for story building, i can farm random encounters and more adequately protect npcs, plus too many headshots on an unarmored human without death breaks the immersion for me, sometimes i like a challenge others i just want to roleplay.

I never completed the campeign but i never liked being overpowered for enemies if all i do is stick around the north to mid parts of the map or collect workshops to build settlements for myself and npc's watching them fight to see who wins and dies. The grind was mostly worth it as it felt a sense of just feeling immersed. The time in the day goes by and not much has happened but within a week of in game time alot of progress has been made and settlements are growing as well as if ur in survival the threat and having to stay well in the wasteland adds to the immersion of living with whats left.

This my friend was The infamous RobCo Assaultron, capable of turning you into minced meat or a pile of ashes in a matter of seconds, you were lucky because it was the basic model, later model have Stealth units and swords. Although they're not invincible, three quick shotguns blast to the face should disable they're laser beam, then aim for the chest, it's where they take the most damage. Bonus points if you get the drop on them.
