The fun part is about this mode is, that it has much more user interaction than regular Hearthstone. In regular Hearthstone today is just smashing your heads in until you draw your combo win condition and if you are countered you might as well give up. Which means the game as a whole is luck of the straw thing. Here you can constantly adjust your team towards the enemy composition.

Thats what makes this game mode so great. The scouting and techs here and there to take gameplay to the next level. Its like in high legend when you switch decks to try and que verse the same person with their counter deck. But you can do it every turn!

I started playing Battlegrounds recently, and thanks to Kripp, Firebat, Kibler, and Toast, I've won 3 times and scored top four 6 times and I've only played like 7 or 8 games. The videos help a lot, the one problem is sometimes you'll get the perfect comp and never roll a junk bot, mama bear, etc

I think he was waiting to hopefully get mama bear since when you get mama bear you tend to get rid of any non gold (or hugely buffed) beasts, so when he played new beasts he could boost, or boost mama bear.

I agree but in this case it was a necessity. Doing so allowed the Rat pack, Hyenas & Beast Buffer to not get snipped right off the bat which is crucial

the reason to taunt them is not to give them taunt, but to have them scaling up with either argus (+1/+1) or houndmaster (+2/+2), if you get brann those buffs double of course - you want your hydra as big as possible, so it can reliable swipe 3 targets for as much as possible... the taunt might be kinda unfortunate, but the faster scaling is usually the best outcome + it dying makes room for possible deathrattles of other minions.
