Well this is a actually dumb theory but.. Why people believe on that? I think these is the factor: 1. The visual of star Platinum in the manga is more like a guy and even kinda same like Jonathan than a stand and they both have a muscular body 2. You may notice, Jonathan glove and star Platinum is almost the same, the both has a gold circle is both their glove, also both of them has a armor on their shoulder(i forgot what was the name) 3. People thinks star Platinum can stop time because of Jonathan like awakened the hidden ability and people thinks because only Jonathan that had an humanoid stand meanwhile the other joestar had more like a plant stand But we can cancel these theory 1. About the visual of star Platinum that kinda same like a guy or more likely Jonathan is NOT, because on Araki interview, he state that he got ideas of star Platinum because of the North Star and not related anything from a jojo 2. You see that star Platinum is had those accessories because Araki just a coincidence and doesnt relate anything and the models just an inspiration from his previous style 3. Depends, what media are you considering. I cannot speak for the anime because I haven’t seen reincarnated as a sword (anime). But I know that the anime adaptation of I am a spider so what is garbage. The manga adaptation are on par ( in my opinion). And for the novel, I prefer kumo. Even though I am 1k+ chapters in reincarnated as a sword.
