spinner was loyal to shigaraki not because he could change the world, but because their backstories are a little bit the same and because shigaraki and spinner both faced verbal abuse growing up and were neglected by everyone because of their looks. spinner saw shigaraki as his best friend or even a brother. after earing this i feel bad for both spinner and shigaraki.

Todoroki Family Ending was amazing. Spinner telling Shoji to do his best for heteromorphs like Shigaraki told Deku to do his best for the world was really nice. Another wonderful ending Together with all the concluding sub-plots everything has been fine. We've got 3 more chapters left, Hori will cook like he usually does

No matter what resolution the story has, I'd like to call to attention how much stress and pressure was placed on the writer. Healthy or sick, he got slapped around by the 'fanbase', and that's putting it mildly. The fact he's finishing the story in a way that makes him happy is something to respect, and it was finalized with him being of sound mind. I think the community invests too many hopes into how they wish the series to end, but they're quick to discard how the writer feels about the effects this story and the cult it's created (and I mean that in a general sense of 'fans versus cult', 'appreciation versus obsession'). I think the best course of action is to accept whichever way the story goes, and since we still have some unpublished material left to go, it's possible many questions will be answered and the rest can be left to an epilogue or separate series. The general sense I get from the author is that he truly loves his work despite the hardships he's gone through and he wants to give a satisfying conclusion, and so I encourage folks to be patient and wait to see what's in store.

I agree with you entirely however, the argument can also be made their wouldn't be a series without the fans buying the manga, the merch, the anime boxsets, etc. The one thing all authors and mangaka's should do, Is put the fans straight when they are wiling: the problem is the amount of brain rot building up in the darker side of the fanbase from what I heard anyway.

Overhaul received the Dabi treatment; They were not saved, but with the difference that OVERHAULD WILL BE IN PRISON AND DABI IS ALREADY DEAD, CONFIRMED THAT HE IS HEADING TO HIS DEATH, Overhauld showed regret towards a person who was hurt. Only one will have to spend the rest of his days in prison, the other is already dying and dead, Shiggy and Kurogiri die quickly. Now here it is worrying because it is a soft restart of spinenr when creating a book, it is the same as re destro did.

Correct. Meanwhile Shiggy and Toga had the same ending, both were mentally but not physically saved. They didn’t redeem but they made peace with their main enemy after doing one good deed and died peacefully and with dignity.

I think ppl need to be patient smh… Hori had a lot of characters, this wasn’t just a show focusing on Deku, but on everyone in a way. They’re all getting the resolutions to their story. Ochako is Deku’s love interest, but she also had her own character foil (Toga) and is still affected by her (probable) death. She’s one of the MAIN main characters, so obviously they’re gonna spend the last chapters going over that. Personally? Ya girls hoping for Ochako and Deku to kiss😌

Only 3 chapters left Todoroki Family’s epilogue is finished while Lady Nagant decides to stay in prison, Hawks becomes the president of Hero Safety and Gentle and La Brava is released from prison and now get to be happy together. Follow by Spinner’s closure with Deku talk about Shigaraki’s death while Overhaul is back in prison and he loses everything his boss and Eri but his boss will keep scolding him until he’s dead and perhaps Overhaul might get the execution for what he deserves. All we need now is Uraraka’s closure about what happened to Toga is she dead or alive and will Deku and Uraraka confess their feelings and will Deku finally reunite with his dad but next chapter will be focusing on Class 2A meeting new 1st years students so maybe Uraraka’s closure, Deku and Uraraka’s confessing and Deku’s dad will probably happen on between 2 final chapters. Also we need Dr Garaki’s closure too whether he gets the execution or not due to fact he’s responsible for the Nomus and reviving AFO and how Mr Compress, Geten, Re Destro and Trumpet learn about Shigaraki’s death and same with Dabi and Toga’s death too when Spinner and Skeptic tells them while they get locked up at prison.

I believe plenty can be explained in 3 chapters. Most of the questions remaining can be explained in one or two manga pages it seems, like if Toga lives or will DekuXOcha will sail, appearance of Deku's dad, Eri's quirk. These are more yes or no questions, they don't require long explanation. I think Horikoshi is setting up a sequel. And that last "villain" might become the big bad of the sequel. We will see. I must say, I personally haven't seen MHA fans complaining till I came across this video.

This chapter is literally Chisaki's worst nightmare come true: 1. Not only was he unable to get Hassaikai back to their glory days, but worst, the organization is over. 2. He's doomed to apologize to Eri forever and live in regret, while Eri will eventually forget about him 3. And worst of all, his "Pops", the one person he cares for, makes it his mission to keep haunting Chisaki about his actions until the day he dies. He went from this Big Bad who had us on the edge of our seats to a pathetic, broken shell of a man. I don't recall EVER seeing a villain fall this hard and shrivel to nothingness. I'd hate to be Chisaki right now.

1. The Hassaikai falling stings for Overhaul because he belived that it would smooth things over with the boss. 2. Overhaul doesent regrett what he did to Eri so him now feeling guilt probably won't happen at least not about this hell he bearly even thinks about her at all so this point is basically bs. 3. The boss not forgiving him is probably the only thing that really hurts but since again he only ever regretted putting him in a coma all the other stuff won't even haunt him and hell just having the boss with him even if it is to chastise him is probably a win for him.

As the saying goes, every villain is the hero of their own story. Tomura Shigaraki was no different. To most of those civilians and "heroes," he was a monster that needed to be destroyed, but to the people left behind by society, he was the hero that would tear down the corrupt establishment. Here's to hoping people actually read the book whenever it's published. Shigaraki deserves a strong legacy.

I feel like a big part of the backlash is a problem with greater culture and people's mindsets rather than with the narrative of MHA itself... In Japan, being ostracized from society is a lot more in-your-face than in most places in the West, so it's a *much* bigger cultural stigma there. However, the issue with the "abandoned by society" idea and trope really comes down to whether or not the reader is willing to accept the idea of "personal responsibility" in that context (that it's not society's responsibility to help you fit in). It's your responsibility to find your place in the world, not the world's responsibility to bend to your needs and desires. It hits close to home for a lot of people who feel powerless in whatever their situation is, which is why they identify with the villains of this story and why there's seemingly so much backlash to the closing message.

Technically he was aiming to achieve something that really needed to be changed but he was going about it in all the wrong ways. Bump it I’ll say it I don’t hate what horikoshi trying to do with the heteormorph plotline cuz it could’ve tied into stain very well and actually show real grievance that the villains were talking about to a higher degree but the there’s 2 problems with this it comes in way too late and the characters who would’ve main players are very one note until then like I like this idea it can work but it comes way too late and spinner & shoji are in the background for 90% of the series

I caught an internet article about an interview Horokoshi had recently asking him about future plans for MHA and he was quoted saying he might make a sequel, featuring aliens invading Earth to make it apart of their empire. If he does go through with it then any unresolved plots would probably be taken care of then. Comment if you think he should and if so, how would you feel if he did do an alien invasion story for it?

@@greengem9132 The aliens kind of make sense to me. I mean the series has a bunch of references to Star Wars and aliens show up a lot in comics. There are even alien superheroes. Plus there’s a chance that we could learn more about the origin of Quirks. Maybe even have them be some kind of cosmic evolution or something. But that’s just my own thoughts.

I know the monoma fans like me are few and far between but he is just as big a hero as anyone else in my book! At the end of the day the series is ending, the author is going to say what he wants to say with what little he has left, and in the end all we can do is draw our own conclusions for what happens next.

The principal or a higher up should address Quirk singularity theory. It’s odd it’s brought up so often but preventative/regulatory steps are never discussed. Fame-based heroing should be addressed. We’re just left to assume Shigarki scared everyone to act correctly despite society and heroes not even knowing how Stain/Shigaraki became so influential. Or why they were created in the first place. Honestly i had wished they showed why dabi became a psycho, remember he was in a coma for a few years and he woke up, still saw his family getting abused and went into hiding for years! Why did he became so scarred, how did he burn his skin over the course of those years? The league of villains really don't deserve sympathy, understanding them is the smart thing but thinking their cause was right is down right insane, they never had morals at all Dabi killed people and heros left and right When his life goals was to show his father that he was powerful, he chose to kill too many people along the way, when he could've showed his strength by not killing but taking down heros. Stain wanted to get rid of false heros and dabi believe in that, so he could've done what stain was doing and want to take down the biggest false hero endeavor by showing the public what endeavor did to his own family and showing him that he was the strongest, with the public maybe understanding the league and what they stand for. But we all know how that went, I'm a murdering psychopath, my dad's also an asshole and shitty person Public: okay and you killed people! Who the fuck cares if he was a shit dad we all have shitty parents.

If Deku's father had turn out to be working for a secret International group of Heroes, his disguise as a Salariman enable him to do his true job. Deku's mother had mention her husband's quirk was an insignificant fire breathing quirk. If Deku's father was a hero, his quirk is going to be a powerful type of Fire Breathing as well as a type of Fire quirk which allows him to have two different powers. For Deku to complete his Hero's journey, he must know whom his father really is instead of a Salariman who places his career and job above his family. By Deku's fahter working overseas as well as sending money to his wife and son tells us that he is more likely a powerful fire based quirk hero who is in the disguise of a typical Japanese Salariman. Given how the Japanese view Divorce as a sign of failure, Deku's mother and father are not divorce. Oddly Deku's does care for his wife and son despite working overseas as a Salariman for a Japanese Company.

As a Bleach manga reader who had to go through such a rushed ending it left a bad taste in my mouth (luckily we've got the anime coming in clutch to fix that), I'm feeling MHA is heading towards the same disgraceful end. Too many questions left unanswered. Unless we get the last 3 chapters to be freaking 40 pages long or something, I believe we'll be left out to dry with many of our questions. It could also be worst and just rush through all of the things and not get satisfying explanations, whatever the case is, it doesn't look to me that we'll have the answers, regardless of needing, wanting or deserving them.
