I was really hoping Deku would come out of this with One For All and All For One merged into one quirk minus the respective quirk stockpiles. That was its both a power that can give and take quirks while possessing the ability to be passed on to a successor. The escapee walking through a ruined city has got to be Hisashi. Same dark hair, and the wrapping around his mouth are good indications. That has to be referring to his fire breathing quirk. My guess is that Hisashi had to use the “Overseas Job” as cover for his real situation. He must have lost control of his firebreathing and probably asked AFO to steal Deku’s quirk factor as a baby to prevent him from meeting the same fate.

Here's my theory on Hisashi Midoriya (Dekus fathers) Disappearance He was once an employee of the public hero safety commission or spy for the heros Hard working wanting to make a difference. Till he accidentally discovered shady dealings between AFO villains and PHSC the drugs weapons quirk stealing child soldiers and creating nomus. They imprisoned him for 15 years in Tartarus since deku was 1 year old before he could report to the hero's Now that the PHSC base and Tartarus destroyed by Tomura Shigaraki he tried to escape during the Breakout But was captured again by AFO To keep him from leaking the information and locations of his bases and allies. Now that War Arc is over and AFO Dead He's free to finally escape back to his family. there might be some remnants of the PHSC and villains to try and silence for knowing their public names and identities. One thing to point out is, who was the original user of stockpile because if deku gave up every quirk he had in one for all there's a chance stockpile wasn't given away because its an extra quirk that originally had no user because all for one took it, and gave it to one for all. So what deku really lost was the ability to give one for all and every other quirk, One for all copied the user's conciseness Stockpile copied/ was able to access the pass user's quirks of one for all

I feel like we might still see some other moments; like man, I thought we were gonna get a Midoriya and uraraka moment but that still avoidable by the part where she said about his haircut and how she can’t talk to him like that; to me, I still hope they talk especially in there friend aoyama goodbye 🎊.

I feel like deku was going to try and ask if uraraka was ok ever since what happened with toga. Since uraraka knows what deku was going to ask, she dodges the question by interrupting him about his hair. Thats y deku is frowning, he feels bad again that she ends up comforting him when he tries to comfort her.

My best theory about Deku's father that he is a member of an elite group of International Heroes. His Quirk is a very powerful fire quirk. Of course, his had to pretend that he had a weaker fire Quirk. Being a member of an elite group can help to explain his absence during the series. As usual, Deku's father is not a typical absent Japanese Salariaman father. He had no choice, but to pretend to be a salariman.. Yet he is a father who cares for his son. Add to the theory, Deku's father is likely a very important executive in on of Japan's top companies. Another reason to explian his absence. About the mission of the Elite group of International Heroes. They elite group is aware of All For One, but they have to allow All For One to continue his control over the Japanese Underworld. The group keeps an eye on other villains who are like All For One. These villains have likely seen All For One as a rogue. The other villains who are like All For One have their own goals. They are grateful for the demise of All For One.

I think Horikoshi said this epilogue was gonna run for a while, so this cahpter basically shrunk the scale of conflict and set up a new arc. That said I don't think this new character is gonna be Deku's father, he looks a bit too young, but anime is no stranger to characters aging amazingly so who knows

I would argue that it's not *that* much of a Time Skip, at most maybe 2 weeks. First, it was already April before the whole war and before Japan fell to ruin. And considering how Deku's hair is still shaven on one side suggests that not much time has passed since his recovery. I've had full buzz cuts before, so I've seen how quickly it grows back (Deku obviously doesn't have a hair based quirk either).
