The exhaust tips are a HUGE upgrade from the HDMI ports on my 2022, which I replaced with a Borla exhaust that has raised a few eyebrows. (Truthfully it's usually more, "Wow, Borla makes an exhaust for a Hyundai?") New model looks great! Overall, good review. Cheers!

thank you so much for the video. really enjoyed watching it. may I ask please, do you know by chance if it's possible to purchase an actual spare tire complete kit for the 2024 sonata nline? if so, maybe you could recommend where please. also, i noticed it also has normal, sport, and my drive, is there an eco option? or did hyundai remove the eco option for this new sonata? also, i really wish they included the center console rear air vents on the 2024 nline. apparently they are adding them on the 2025 nline, which kind of sucks cuz I recently got the 2024 nline, kind of not fair, bc LITERALLY the only difference between 2024 vs 2025 is the center console airvents. Do NOT understand for the life of me, why hyundai did not include them on the 2024 nline on USA models, when in most other countries the 2024 nline has them included, thank you again.

It’s baffling how Hyundai and Kia build all these high torque models, most with turbo's and don’t offer a Limited Slip Differential. I’ve driven a few models and the front tires always seem to spin around a corner or if taking off from a stop too aggressively. Not fun after the first few times and a lot of wear and tear.. 😕

The car says to use 87 octane, put 87 octane in it. There is Zero benefit to premium fuel if there's no danger of pre-ignition (knocking) when using 87 octane. All octane is is knock resistance. no more, no less. You're wasting your money and it won't run any faster, cleaner or better. (Providing the engineers at Hyundai know what the are doing.) Bad advice.
@aronfaine94576 ай бұрын
Heat can increase the chance of predetonation. If you was spending hours playing with the car, or actually taking it to a track, you’d want premium gas to resist the heat of continued hard use. Otherwise, yes, there’s no benefit if it’s designed for regular grade. But there is indeed still a benefit of using premium. As well, premium tends to have tons more detergents and additives that help with removing carbon deposits, cleaning valves, and being better for your catalytic converter.
@johnfranklin52776 ай бұрын
All 4 cylinder cars for about the last 10 years are high compression engines. High compression engines will PING on regular gas, ie..87 octane. Years ago the development of the knock, or PING sensor. Along with the ability of a computer to constantly adjust timing on the fly, gave manufacturer's the ability to say you can run 87 octane. However, it doesn't RETARD timing till PING is DETECTED. So the engine is still frequently subject to pinging which is very bad. Retarding the timing causes a big drop in performance. So running premium eliminates PING, while leaving timing in the advanced position for optimum power at all times.
@robtech3416 ай бұрын
@@johnfranklin5277 It says right in the Service manual for the the car printed by Hyundai Motors themselves, Regular Gas. Not premium, not fairy dust, not liquid diamond juice, regular gas. If the car has been tuned to use 93 octane to eliminate knock that's one thing, but from the showroom floor these cars are factory tuned to run perfectly on 87 if that's what they claim. There's no reason the manufacturer would recommend 93 if it doesn't require it. For instance 2016 GTI requires only regular fuel whereas the 2016 Golf R requires Premium as it is specifically engineered to use 93 instead of 87. That said if you use an APR stage 1 tune on the GTI, APR recommends 93 for proper operation guaranteed. So in short, speaking from a stock configuration, whatever the manual says to use, use that. Cheers.
@Majima_Nowhere6 ай бұрын
For daily driving, yeah 87 will work. But for track days and prolonged spirited driving, you want 89+ or you will start pinging after a few minutes. Ask how I know....
@robtech3416 ай бұрын
@@Majima_Nowhere Who do you think is buying this car? I'd be willing to bet there are fewer than 1% of Sonata N-line owners that will Ever see a track or really spend hours driving it hard, that's not this car's target. Hence why there's no LSD or strut tower brace, or Brembo brake factory options etc... this is a comfy daily driver with a ridiculous amount of horsepower and torque. I was commenting on This car in particular. Cheers!

Here in Canada, we're missing out on even more than you guys. First, we don't even have the hybrid option here, which is strange given the fact all 2025 Camry's, the Sonata's main competition, are hybrid. Second, on the top tier Ultimate trim, we don't get the 360 camera, in dash side view monitors, or the Heads Up. And the biggest insult of all, the powertrain warranty up here is only five years, compared to the ten everyone else gets. It's almost a giant fu from Hyundai to it's Canadian customers.
