Doug Carter is the definition of a hero. He never stopped and stuck with this horrible crime till he could bring justice to the victims and their families. I love that he also isn’t afraid of his emotions. He was always professional and didn’t let his emotions affect the investigation, but you can see how important the victims, the families, and his community are to him. He is the template of dedication and compassion that all officers should strive to be emulate. The Delphi community is lucky to have a Man like this watching out for them. Thank you, Sir!

Why would Carter have to know that he gave them free photos ? The family wasn’t aware , and apparently the entire town didn’t know that he was the murderer. I think many photo labs would have did this as well . I’m more on the side of how his wife didn’t know or at least suspect him ? The blue jacket / hat / shoes / gait / was off work / or took off . He committed himself to a mental health facility days after . I think she knew , bargained back and forth and didn’t want her world turned upside down. Then to delete all of 2017 FB posts to protect him is very damning . She wasn’t aware LE had already obtained everything from the entire family before the arrest . How could the neighbors not report him wearing that jacket ? Probably because he didn’t fit the sketches , the video makes him taller

Took them almost 6 years to catch Allen/ look over his file again when he lived miles away from the scene and fit the profile?! Yeah these cops are down bad. Their words say they were trying hard but actions show obviously not. It’s a really bad look
