Because Sheik doesn’t really leave you much room for error. Even though Webb is phenomenal, unfortunately when you make an error as shiek, she’s just far less forgiving than most other characters you’ll encounter during top level play.

@@johnbingham5693Shiek is still hard to edgeguard and hard to catch generally I still think she’s fine to try and win with but you have to play extremely defensive in general to get good risk/reward unfortunately

gluto's adaptation in game 3 onward is insane, he starts playing more defensively and stops approaching as much and webb immediately struggles to find openings--excellent play from both of them but JESUS gluto is good

He did the exact same thing at Tera against Mr. R's sheik which went the exact same way in a reverse 3-0 after getting the match up back. I remember Gluto's feedback on that set being that Wario vs Sheik is not fundamentally bad but it's weird to play and he needed to get his match up habits back and after that he was basically set

Wow this is first time I’ve seen WebbJP. The spacing and pacing is amazing. Super clean gameplay. I’m gonna keep an eye out out for this dude in the future.

@@sebaschan-uwu I wouldnt say he choked. It was more like he just couldn't keep up after gluto got the lead. After gluto won game 3, I kinda counted webb out mentally at that point ngl.
