Man, that touch on the four would be agony. I'll bet he doesn't come down into position over a shot like that without that particular one in his mind for a good long while. It could happen at many times and be not that bad, but there it literally cost him $25k, the trophy, and bragging rights, and some standing in the ranking. I'll bet he gets at least one more shot at this title, though, the way he plays.

I don't understand how the commentators missed out on that since Josh clearly measured out that shot. It's so clear he went for it and then fluked the 2 as consolation prize.

didn't u see the three (3) ball? where is he going to bank combo the nine (9) ball again? he just whacked the two ball and just got lucky. that's okay though. even the GOAT efren reyes still made several fluke shots out of his professional billiard career.

Sorry buddy but ur very misinformed and clearly delusional if u think Efren is still not a monster. Just because he’s not performing on the big stages doesn’t mean he isn’t playing everyday. He gambles underground more so than ever in long races especially against young up comers and wins! Filler is talented but to say he’s the best in the world today is ignorant. Sure he’s won titles in short races but look back at his long races and he falters. He’s too emotional and hasn’t proven his endurance. Fedor is sound and has the right character that is surpassing everyone today at such a young age. Again put him against Reyes or Shane in a race past 50 or 100 like the original color of money and u will see the truth.

I genuinely don't understand why they don't have to nominate the pocket, in order to avoid disgusting flukes such as the one in frame 19. Especially when you can get a clear hit of a given ball. a good compromise could be to nominate pockets for clear hits, and no need to nominate if you are snookered?
@sfcarmwrestling15584 жыл бұрын
Because 9ball is not a nominate pool game.

35.22...how can the announcers not know what he was trying to do... plainly obvious that he was attempting to bank the 2 into the 9 and pray the 9 went in..in situations like that you hit the ball hard...is it luck... somewhat...more skill than luck because the 2 does not go unless you hit it as hard as he did... and pros know that...with very low probability of hitting a safety you will always see a pro hit the ball hard on similar shots and if the announcers are good pool players they would know that...he just didn't know right away what to say and is forced to comment and that turd came out
@robdetuinman23 жыл бұрын
You're absolutely right about that. He didn't just wack the ball. He didn't have a pocket to shoot the 2 at and the safety was just as hard so he went for the 9. It's 9ball after all.
