70's movie. Everyone is after the map to that gold. Hwang hooks up with a guy and between him and a lot of the people good or bad end up switching sides on one another all thru out the movie. Pretty woman goes back and forth too. Guns, thugs, poker cards, and traitors all in the mix. Story line was actually pretty deep & detailed. Fighting goes without say. Good movie !

Some of my hong kong friend vincent tsang, enoch chung and keith law said the fight scene in kung fu movie is not realistic as the fight scene in samurai movie and ninja movie!!!!!!!!!They also said japanese warrior is stronger than chinese warrior!!!!!!!Me and my parents do not agree with them!!!!!!What do you guys think ?

In no movie the fight scene is realistic; no in western movie, action, war or kung fu... If the fights or shootings will be real all the actors die... Here we talk about movie not real life they are all actors with a real fung fu skills. Behind the scene is a lot of work and effort from the actors to do it they jobs is not easy not at all...

You are quite correct that the first fight scene in the film doesn't belong. Often, when these films were being packaged for overseas distribution, a scene from an entirely different film would be edited in. The scene would be added to make the film more exciting and also to draw attention to a more recognizable actor (In the minds of the film makers). The pre-credit scene features that late Phillip Ko-Fei (Fai Ko Fei) 1949-2017. Some oh his films: The Water Margin (Shaw) 1972 7 Man Army (Shaw) 1976 Wu Tang Swordsman (1978) 2 Wondrous Tigers (1979) Tiger Over Wall (1980) Dreadnaught (1981) Seeding of a Ghost (1983) 8 Diagram Pole Fighter (Shaw) 1984 老师 Ko-Fei was also a very prolific director.

Update: The first fight scene in "Buddhist Fist and Tiger Claws" is lifted from "The Dragon, The Hero" (1979) at 0:07:50 into the film minus two inserted shots of an hourglass that tie into the previous scene. The opening credits music for "Buddhist Fist and Tiger Claws" has also been taken from "The Dragon, The Hero" played at a higher pitch and faster speed. This music itself is "borrowed" from an American film.
