I love Wilson Tong AKA the Foot doctor. One of my favorite bad guys. My number #1 bad guy is Lu Feng AKA the Centipede. I like Johnny Wang and Alan Chu. Johnny Wang was great in 3 evils. And Alan Chu RIP in 7 Grand Master as Kuo Yi fung. Lily Li is gorgeously beautiful.

That was a 10/10 and i consider myself expert at reviewing them after decades. The finale is magnificent. All actors are superb including the main vilain who is always a critical character in any movie and he gave us the honor of a full performance to the bitter end something that some actor botch on purpose when they have to play the vilain. Lilly Li has magnetic elegance and is very precise and graceful. A womanly part in that movie was wonderful and i like her colorful fabrics. Did anyone notice how nice the clothes she hangs outside were. And the 2nd master an amazing gymnast. First master a fun and friendly man no doubt powerful. The main hero Mung Yuen Men is very apt at making jokes that actually made me laugh. His skills looks like a gymnast who turned to kung fu. He was great with Lilly Li, a very pleasant couple to watch. Somehow they had the perfect yin and yang combination. Her soft graceful body and strong mind, him, a hard body and soft mind. Together they beat 8 daggers who was hard mind and hard body. This is definitively one of the greatest in the genre.

Yes Meng Yuen Man is actually Peking Opera trained at the same academy as Jackie Chan ,Sammo Hung and Yuen Biao whom I'm sure you know of. They learn acrobatics, singing, and martial arts there. Wilson Tong the villain is also Peking Opera trained and was the choreographer for this movie.

@@goognamgoognw6637 Kung Fu Genius, End of Wicked Tigers, Young Avengers, Dirty Kung Fu, & Duel of the Braves Ones-the only film he played a good guy leading role are my best films with Wilson Tong fighting actions and character acting. He started out as henchmen early with Golden Harvest, then excel with major fight footages in Shaw Brothers under Director Liu Chia Liang. Finally! He was able to shine with Director Cheung Sum. He was also action Director under both Liu Chia Liang and Cheung Sum.

Mung Yuen-Men was outstanding in this classic. And what can I say about Wilson Tong, He always plays a superb Bad Guy. I guess growing up as one "The Seven Little Fortunes" paid off for Yuen Men, His acrobatic prowess is always a sight to behold. That School rolled out so many Kung Fu Movie Legends, you can barely name them all.😉 Wasn't a part of the Jackie Chan, Sammo Hung Squad but Yuen Men was a part of the second squad.

Description is very much on the mark especially about the aspects of Lily Li. Names are hard to come by so here are some minor details: Ah Chong's 1st teacher was "La Su" (Peter Chan). He then leaves and is attacked by road bandits but is saved by his soon to be 2nd teacher "Wong Chan Pan". Chong goes into town, insults 2 girls and is taught a lesson by "Fong Chee" (Lily Li). There he will learn a new "female" technique. "Ah Lin" is Ah Chongs' girlfriend. "Pa Su Lang" is (Wilson Tong). Another new technique will be Catch the Beggar ! As description indicates Ah Chong manages to catch up with Pa Su to even the score. Commenters mainly highly rave the talents of Wilson Tong.

Yeah very true. However, remember in a fight NEVER expect it to be fair unless it's a tournament like UFC or some other tournament. Any real life street fight ANYTHING GOES. So never think you can win no matter how skilled you are. Your opponent may have less than half your skill but can pull out knives and a gun.

Me and the guys had been going to see kung fu movies as Sunday double features when i was 16 growing up in San Francisco. Now at 55 Discovering your page here on KZbin has been a serious FLASHBACK for me and my friends. Maybe you would know a movie that had a major fight scene at the end (they all do) but this one had a fighting style called "Hall Monster" where when he got he hands into a over under tiger claw position you heard some Growling, and the other guy had a "Canary Style" where you heard birds chirping... that shit was CRAZY!! I never forgot it, and now I need to find it... Would either of you ever know of this movie..? Thanks!
