WUG Ramp vs Green Atog | Old School Magic the Gathering 93/94 |

This old school Magic the Gathering duel shows off two different approaches to the game. One player plays a three coloured deck that wants to ramp into strong and powerful creatures, such as Serra Angel and Erhnam Djinn, and refuels with Ancestral Recall, Braingeyser and Jayemdae Tome. While the other mage is going all in on the aggressive approach, quickly burning through his resources slamming his Atogs on the battlefield and turning them sideways preferably playing a Berserk on it to double the damage.

Yes, I always bolt the birds. At least as soon as I'm sensing an Armageddon, but mostly as soon as they are cast.

Turn one, I almost always do for the simple reason that it gives to much of a tempo advantage. The risk of being faced with a T2 Stone Rain, Ice Storm, Hippy, Serendib E are simply too great.

I think the Atog player could have won the third game if he'd sideboarded in Blood Moons (if he'd managed to play one out early game). Great game, thanks for uploading all the great stuff!
