Funnily enough I just found Factor the other week from Facebook. I had a home cooked meal last night and found I already couldn’t eat as big of portions as I used to. I already feel different in 2 weeks of use. Has anyone else used these meals and had changes this fast? These meals aren’t frozen so it actually tastes good. I highly recommend the juices. Those "knobs" are to avoid aplying all the weight of the console to the slides when is laying on a surface, instead to apply it to the main body that is more sturdy, you even can see how it flexed when you pushed it down slightly.🙃

You should test the deadzones on the joysticks whenever you make videos about 3rd party controllers because for me thats the most important part that makes or breaks a controller. I say this because I typically find that with a lot of these 3rd party controllers the sticks have large deadzones and really make the controller feel cheap and unresponsive.
@adrianpadin1840
@adrianpadin1840 2 жыл бұрын
This is one of my major issues with the original Hori Split Pad. The joysticks feel nice but they have a huge deadzone, to the point where I can't play games like Hades that require precise inputs because I feel like I'm steering a boat when I move around. Too bad the sticks on my joycons keep drifting and Nintendo refuses to acknowledge the issue
@Maybe_Saber
@Maybe_Saber 2 жыл бұрын
@@adrianpadin1840 I had the same problem but with the 8bitdo ps4 styled controller and its even worse on larger controllers since the sticks are physically larger and have to be moved further making the problem even more noticeable. I ended up returning the controller and just using nintendos first party controller because it bothered me so much which sucks because I love the extra features like back buttons and additional profiles as well as the ergonomics of some of these controllers. Its just hard to justify buying these when one of if not the main thing you use to play most games and even browse the menus is of such poor quality.

It was awhile ago and I don't really use my switch that much anymore but I still watch wulf den and reviews from time to time. Just wish they would mention the joysticks and their quality considering they help market these controllers to an extent and bring in sales. The entire subject around motion controls is maddening because SO MUCH could be EASILY FIXED by the littlest bit of effort from all of these companies. PlayStation and Xbox have had gyro built into their controllers for years now but it’s rare to see them implemented in a practical way for any of their games (eg: all shooters) - they’re usually reduced to some useless feature in some odd title once in awhile. Nintendo is leading the charge and it’s pretty much expected now from their 1st party titles as well as ports brought over to the Switch, but then sometimes they just don’t follow all the way through like you mentioned. It’s the main reason I use a XIM Nexus gyro controller now to play Xbox/PS console shooting games instead of their own controllers. They could easily fix this by encouraging developers to implement them in all their games. Instead, XIM gets my money so I can fully enjoy my games. (Sorry for the ridiculously long rant)

yeah but the split pad pro joy cons dont drain basically any power from your switch compared to joy cons. any joy con with features like rumble or gyro, all drain a fuck ton of power constantly. they never stop recharging themselves while connected. and they draw all that power from the switch. which means they recharge from the switch over and over and over.....which is STUPID. i noticed a HUGE difference with the split pad pro. battery lasted A LONG time

Hori is completely incapable of making anything that isn’t hideously ugly. These make the switch look like dumbo. The original was just lazily cutting a regular 3rd party controller in half and not doing much else. No, I don’t really want my hands to be extremely far apart when holding a mobile system, that would get tiring, and if you’re playing a game with touch controls, that’s just even more inconvenient. I don’t get the point of these. They’re for handheld only but they’re terrible for portability, and you wouldn’t be caught dead using these sickly looking inflamed joycons in public. So they’re really only good for when you’re playing handheld around the house, in which case just get one of those grips that goes over the entire switch and joycons and improves ergonomics. Cheaper and more practical.

The Binbok ones are not as premium as they look. I ordered 2 pairs to Canada from the Binbok website. They are fairly comfortable (if not a bit too big) and fully-featured, but I find the sticks just feel a bit ... off. Like the deadzones are too big or something. I found it hard to play FPS or anything that requires accurate aiming. The motion controls are similar. Great for casual games, but anything that requires precision just feels weird. Also, I should mention, one of the joycons i got from them was slightly defective. Minor enough that I was able to fix it myself though. They told me they would send a new one when they were restocked, and they never did. I didn't bother following up since I was able to fix it, but still not great customer service.

The Nexigo came up on sale at one point for ~$30 and decided to try it, and it's so much better. -there's no flat spot to stand it up on the bottom of the (grip nub) but the buttons feel so much better and I actually prefer the flat buttons, not sure if it's because they have less travel as well or what but def feels better. I prefer the Joy-Cons in portable mode for the more relaxed story-based games where I'm going to benefit a lot from HD Rumble when it comes to immersion. A good example is Kentucky Route Zero (excellent game by the way). For more intense gameplay, I just want something that's going to allow me to play the best I can. For instance, the Split Pad Pro is my preferred way to play Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. The feel of the triggers really works for me in that game, and those smooth analog sticks make for some easy and precise steering with the left one. Gotta say, I'm digging the gray and yellow for the Split Pad Compact. I know there's an all-red version too, but I prefer this one. I think it has kind of a retro vibe (maybe late '70s/early '80s). I wasn't going to get one since I already have the Split Pad Pro, but I might consider it if the buttons, analog sticks, and grip feel nicer. The BinBok controllers and ones like them are fine I guess, but they're a gamble when it comes to quality. I prefer going the officially licensed route with Hori's offerings.

If you use the d-pad like I do, you will know what I’m talking about. I own three awesome 8bitdo controllers which I absolutely LOVE, and the d-pads on those aren’t as good as this one. Hint: try playing a Mario game climbing a ladder or a vine, if you SLIGHTLY lean your thumb to the left or right while holding true up or down, most all d-pads will take the input as right/left and you’ll fall off the vine/ladder. The reason the controllers have those nubs on the back is so the remappable buttons on the back are not presses. I can’t remember where I heard that but I saw a video about the controllers that say that

The original joycons keep pushing a nerv in my palms when playing in hand-held mode, which makes my hands go numb, so now I only play in docked mode But I’ve long yearned for an alternative joycon with a more rounded grip so that I can play Xenoblade Chronicles 3 while laying in bed

Bro you're editing skills are amazing that really look like you were passing that back and forth to yourself even when the package would rotate in the air only one that looked a little funny was the very first throw other than that that looks Flawless man how did you do it seriously that's one of the reasons I lost your channel is because you're editing style is very unique your personality is very unique you're very smart and you're the one who got me into Retro Gaming dead serious so yeah I'm kind of a super fan of your Channel

Split Pad Pro just seems better. Those meaty grips are simply mint and they keep my hands from cramping to hell. Not sure the reduced thicc factor will help. And the yellow looks meh. If they release a black and red one or black and white or all black, I’ll probably bite and see how it goes.

I like when you show off that you have a switch that's been on for a whole year. It's a small thing that exists somewhere in this universe, but fascinating (like "oh yeah that's still a thing that's happening.)

For portable mode on the Switch, I personally think there is no better option than the Fixture S1 (if you already own a Pro Controller). The standard setup for the Steam Deck and Switch is just so awkward to hold. It's like holding up a keyboard with a screen. Attaching new controllers like the one featured in this video help, but it still feels so long. The fixture S1 is just freaking perfect because I can continue to hold a controller like I have been for 30+ years. I PRAY that Fixture or some other company releases some more comfortable way to hold the Steam Deck portably.

But I really want to know how you got that box to rotate in between the frames like that and make it look Flawless bro it really looks like your twin brother sitting there throwing that box with you if it wasn't for the very first throw the Box looking a little glitchy people would really think that you had a twin brother bro

The way the switch dips at 10:01 when joycon is pressed because nubs are missing x_X Those nubs are definitely there to avoid stress on the rails when Switch is placed flat on tablet for people that want to play touchscreen only games or lay it flat when minimal input is needed.

As somebody who legitimately prefers playing in the Dual one in each hand joy-con mode on the TV products like these angry cuz they're so close to being good but Hori just had to cheap out and not put any decent internals in them. So now they're basically useless garbage

6:28 - You can remap button layouts in the Switch settings to solve this. So, for example if I wanted B to be on the extra back button of the Left controller, I'd remap the camera button to function as B in the Switch options (bypassing the inability to map buttons from the right to left, because B is now mapped onto the left controller!). Then map the camera button (now functioning as another B button) to the button on the back of the left controller. Voila! You lose the ability to screen shot with this method but I rarely if ever use it.

I got the hori split pad pro. I hate the original controllers. I got the Kingkong2 for when I'm playing docked. I mainly play docked but thats because I prefer that over the switch screen, too tiny. But then i upgraded my Switch to OLED by selling my old switch. I really wanted to enjoy all the futures the switch provides, such as handheld mode with pro split controllers. I never knew they didn't have motion controls tho 0.0 honestly never tried.

Got the OG HTORI Matt black joycons they are comfy, but too big, I agree I got a new TOTK switch, and I don't mind joycons. I'm just scared they'll drift eventually for being one of the most versatile controllers ever made it sure breaks ez 😮‍💨70 $ USD a pop I'm probably getting the grey on yellow HOTORI joycons or at the very least get something else bigq and more comfortable.
