it's been hilarious not seeing ONE content creator speaking about the price has been priceless hhahah it's like I'm saying for a long time now: you just have to hit where people burn their money on specially rich people and you're done. freaking 200$ ? it's cute, it has nice and good responsive screen and system, it seems to be able to do cool stuff, it comes with some games and softwares seems cheap but still, freaking 200$?! no back light?? man nostalgia for sure is the best bait.

I went with a steam deck purely because they put gaming at the forefront which is the reason for me getting a handheld computer essentially. The only reason I was skipping out on all the windows is because I learned my lesson when I tried to use Windows phone that was the most unbearable experience I even had a Windows tablet and that was an unbearable experience I still have both of my Windows tablets. They pretty much locked you to using Windows mobile version in the Windows store I couldn't download anything that was not in the window store and that bother the crap out of me. Those two tablets were completely useless to me because I was going to use them to emulate Android games or play PC games that need it like barely any processing power but I couldn't because it had to be in the Windows store. They have been gathering dust for a decade now next to my computer and I just no one will buy them or they won't spend more than $20 for them so I just hold on to them cuz they work they are just useless to me. and at least with the steam deck you're not locked to just using steam games you have the option of getting games elsewhere but as someone who already has 244 steam games I feel like the most obvious option and since they are catering the device towards ease of use and steam users it makes sense for me even though I've never used a Linux I feel like this is a great stepping stone and to meet learning how to use Linux too. Yeah you'll have more options running Windows since most things natively will run on Windows however I also heard there's more issues because essentially they're just throwing their desktop onto the consoles instead of making it focused on gaming they could have made those devices essentially handheld Xboxes but they didn't do that they should have just made them handheld Xboxes and people still would have bought them it would have been geared towards more their console users versus PC users. The best part about this thing is that I could finally get rid of my switch I no longer have to decide do I want to buy the game on my PC for a better experience or buy it on the Nintendo switch for the portability or the ability to just you know play it in my bed or whatever. And I don't have to pay the full price Nintendo prices when I see the same game for sale on steam now I can just buy it on my computer and have it everywhere that is what makes me the happiest I get to get these games discounted and I don't have to battle with do I buy it for my PC or the switch for portability

tbh I hate the joycons and the joysticks on the switch I hope to god they ditch the joycon gimmick for the switch 2 literally just make a more powerful switch about the same size maybe a little bigger full ass joysticks and buttons

It's a nice device but I wish the buttons had a lighter actuation force, I wish the D-pad didn't have all four directions pressable at once, and I wish the device was a little less thicc. I also have a 35XX+ and I'm not sure which I prefer between the two, the SP is nicer for playing in bed because the screen is so much more elevated but the + is more pocket-friendly and in my opinion has better controls. Still hoping the Miyoo Mini Flip sees the light of day and doesn't suck. Another cool thing with having Wifi on a device like this is you can use Syncthing to sync game saves with your PC or other devices.

To say that this video was frustrating to watch is an understatement. I genuinely feel that the general "idea" that this video tries to paint is disingenuous. Just little things about griping about Finder vs doing it in Windows, having to mess with an eGPU, etc. It doesn't draw a comparison as a "replacement" if the complaint would be universal to any other hardware on the same OS and/or isn't a direct comparison. I'm buying a handheld, creating a brand new channel not associated with this one, and will try to attempt this from a genuine perspective. I have never made a youtube video. I can't activate 4k and 120hz, I have the m28u and an Xbox series x, when I activate 4k then activate 120hz, it automatically switches to 1440p to be able to have 120hz.. . I can't find the problem, I hope I was clear. THANKS !

The answer is "no". Triggers suck, gyro is wonky and sticks kind of grind the edge of their well.

I picked one of these up for $18 on Ebay. I had to replace the shoulder buttons with new switches which required some soldering, but it was beginner-level soldering at best and was not a big deal at all. Now it works great and it even has the original battery which still holds a decent charge all these years later. There are listings for these things in the $20-30 range all the time. I'd encourage anyone to pick one up before those prices start going up. They're easy to service and replacement parts for them aren't expensive at all. New screens are like $15 a piece, so you could probably find a DS Lite with bad screens for dirt cheap and then drop another $30 on a new set of screens that just slot right in like normal. Same goes for buttons, membranes and shells.

I got the legion go yesterday and I’m pulling my hair out trying to figure it out. I can’t even play games on the Xbox app because when I try to run the game I get ‘clip license device id does not match’ Tried ‘valorant’ and it open in a tiny box with no way to open it in full screen. I really want to like it, but I might have to return it. I feel a bit overwhelmed by it all.
