Things to know about this Season. 1. It’s been about 6 months since the finale of Season 3. 2. The prison community as a group has stopped looking for the Governor with Michonne being the only on still searching. 3. Rick has completely stepped down as leader and is learning to be a farmer with there now being a council with Hershel as the main representative. 4. Rick has taken away Carl’s gun privileges and is teaching him to farm so he could go back to being a normal kid. 5. Those three questions Rick asked are slightly essential to the group without going too much into it It’s their way of see if complete strangers can be seen as trustworthy.

Really solid start to an absolute experience of a season. People like to shit on this season and especially the first half cause it’s slow but people have to see that SLOW does not equal BORING. 1x1 was one of the slowest episodes on the show yet it’s still probabky the best television premiere to date

I also thoroughly enjoy season 4. I don't think any episodes of *season 4 are actually slow, and they certainly aren't boring. It seems to me that a lot of people that complain about slow episodes in TWD, BB and BCS etc. are people that mostly only watch action craptaculars that are nothing but over the top action, zero plot, terrible writing, zero character development, and sub-par acting. If every single second isn't filled with 'cars go fast, things go boom' it makes their brains hurt LOL.

The first five episodes I agree. Now, while 6 and 7 were necessary to explain why the Governor randomly showed up with a whole new army, I was so bored, and while that would've been fine for a one time thing. This season began the most irritating trend in The Walking Dead. Bottle episodes. Instead of weaving the different scenes together like Game of Thrones so that we were guaranteed to see the people we liked each week, The Walking Dead chose the very stupid idea of making us wait for weeks before we got to see Rick again. It meant several episodes could pass and we still feel like we've only just left the prison.

The Season 3 finale takes place on Day 321 after the Zombie Apocalypse began. Rick has been awake from his coma now for 441 days/14 months 21 days. This episode takes place on Day 500 after the Zombie Apocalypse began. The break between Season 3 and Season 4 was 179 ( 500 - 321 ) Days 6 Months.

Your math doesn’t make sense. You say season 3 finale takes place 321 days after the apocalypse began then go to say Rick has been awake for 441 days thus suggesting that Rick was awake when it began. Rick went into a coma before the apocalypse started and woke up after it started. So that kinda of confused me lmao 🤣

I love season 4 because you really see how this group can flourish and grow. Plus there is a lot of time spent with all the characters and new characters, which in turn made me very attached to everyone by the end of the season.

Just a little trivia a new showrunner has taken over at the start of this Season it’s Scott Gimple now the previous showrunner’s decision killing Andrea with other stuff ended up in him pretty much being fired Season 3 was great but there was behind the scenes drama I will leave it at that.

In the cold open, some of the walkers along the fence had blood coming from their eyes and nose, just like Patrick. Rick saw it and kinda turned his head but it was foreshadowing the sickness

Since people are leaving fun facts down here... The desperate woman who Rick is trying to help for most of this episode is also the voice of Friday, Tony Stark's suit UI. Once you know that, it's really hard to hear her voice any other way :P

Because Merle took out most of the Governor's army before he was killed, the Governor "drafted" all of the able-bodied adults left in Woodbury for that final attack on the prison. Except for Sasha and Tyreese, of course. Then he gunned them all down, except for Karen. So, aside from those three, pretty much all the Woodbury survivors were children or the elderly. That means most of the new characters that we're meeting in the prison community were brought in by Daryl and Glenn during the six-month time jump. After Woodbury, Rick stepped down as leader to focus on Carl, which is a nice callback to earlier in Season 3 when Carl had told him he should stop being the leader so Rick could focus on getting better. Now he actually has, but it was for Carl's sake instead of his own. And, you are correct. They developed those three questions to help in deciding whether or not to bring someone in. Buckle up. As I'm sure you've figured out by now, Season 4 is quite a ride!

Carol slowly, but surely, becomes one of the best characters on the show with her development. Who would have thought that she'd even still be around seeing how she was in season 1. Now she's training kids in weaponry secretly while badass people like Rick are trying to stop using their weapons all together. Like Merle told Carol last season, she's a late bloomer.

Couple of things…you mentioned that Beth is too young for a boyfriend…she’s like 17. Also, you referred to Karen (Tyrese’s girlfriend) as one of the Governor’s henchmen. She actually wasn’t. He didn’t kill his henchmen on the road that day. Those were just the regular ol’ Woodbury citizens that he forced to fight. Last, yes Michonne comes as goes but it’s not because she’s scavenging. I’m sure she does while she’s out there but the reason she keeps taking off is because she’s trying to find the Governor.

Hello 👋 Another awesome video, 👍 Those three questions are perfect and to the point to see who someone might be, 👍👍 I personally feel that the Morgan gate spikes should be lining the fence to keep any threat of the Walkers getting to close to the fence from happening, 😏 Not sure how the helicopter was not seen on the roof nor why the Walkers on the roof had not been lured over the edge by the boom box that was used to draw the other ones out of the fenced in area and the store, 🤔, then when Bob not so gently set the bottle down the shelf would have been the only thing to fall, Zaks death was a tad cheesy the way he put his arms to his side when he fell instead of fighting, even if he had been bit in the leg, the rest could have chopped it off, 😏 RIP Zak 😢 Sad that Patrick had to die also, Carl finally had a buddy closer to his age (just a tad older), RIP Patrick, 😪 Have a safe and wonderful week, 👋🙂👋

In my opinion, TWD starts picking up from this season. There are slower episodes but it gets better. But thats just me.
