Wuling Mini EV + Baojun Kiwi EV Test Drive Experience - Would you buy a neighborhood EV?

I went to test drive a Wuling Mini EV as well as the Zeekr 001, but ended up testing a third car as well, the Baojun Kiwi. These three EVs all represent the exciting and diverse market for electric vehicles in China. I came away thinking that the Wuling Mini seems like a well put together car, without any bells and whistles, but good value for money. I really enjoyed the Baojun Kiwi a lot, it is a step up from the Mini EV in a lot of ways, and I could see it doing very well in other territories. Heck, it is cheap enough that I'd buy one just so I have a car to get me places around town whenever I'm in USA, so I don't need to borrow anybody else's car. And last, I drove the Zeekr 001, which was also tons of fun and a great car...but that'll be posted next time. Would you get a neighborhood electric vehicle?

If only the E300 Kiwi EV was available in the US, but it isn't. I can't figure out a way to import one either. US customs won't allow it without DOT and NYHTSA crash certifications. :(

Those mini EV I believe has huge market in Europe, coz ppl there obsessed with that kinda EV, there’s a bunch of mini EV in China, they’re really cheap as well compared with the mini EV in Europe, it’s really competitive

02:22 - 170km per charged as advertised. Real range is 120km, 100% to 0%. Real range 85% to 15% is less than 80km. In weather cold weather, make that ~60km.

can't wait for the Wuling in our country. It was unveiled in Indonesia recently. However, I'm wary they might make the mistake of selling the Wuling here close to the price of a Toyota Wigo.

If they do that they will regret it as i have one wigo cheap not so fancy as this wuling but definitely can be modified, long range, much faster top speed 160km/h some 180 n can go for about 500km full tank..4 person comfortable 5 little bit but still has the comfort..this wuling design wise not that aerodynamic but nice look

Oh Gee.......why do ,they have to have those idiotic personal soft toys all over the car insides.......it makes it look so childish.
