Wuthering Waves is a free-to-play action role-playing game developed and published by Kuro Games. It was released on May 22, 2024. Being an open world gacha game, Wuthering Waves has been compared to other titles such as Genshin Impact, but aims to emphasize combat more than its predecessors
This boss, wuthering waves tempest mephis, is the most annoying one out of all other hologram bosses that I faced!

I love how genshin videos were like "1 million damage (character name)" With some overpowered stats While wuwa videos are like "(Underleveled character) vs high level bosses, no damage" I know the chixia build here are strong. But in wuwa videos, the weaker your char are, the more view the videos.

I didn't like her playstyle much when I first started. But now that I have a better grasp of how to play this game, and after seeing a couple Chixia solo gameplay vids, she really does look super fun to play. I need a fusion main dps anyway, and I have those pistols (got the sword early on the weapon banner, and the pistols at UL45 for Mortefi). Only problem is I'm low on resources atm 😢

Thank you for the run. Just noticed with the clone mechanic that you're almost likely to dodge twice if the clone's not doing the same attack. It has sort of like a pattern, *like a tempo ooh* like 1 and 2, 1 and 2

Yeah, but if you time your ulti right, you can do double damage if you hit the clone and the actual boss. Any damage you do to the clone, goes to the boss. So if you damage both of them with Chixia Ulti, you do double damage.

U can’t parry well this boss yet and just wanna to get over with? use chixia and dodge everything and anything. Hehe, who said chixia is bad. Nevertheless, just practice ppl, come back later and try to do runs while parrying as well and dodge counters. We must all git gud!. Besides, this game is about parrying as well. So sooner or later we must learn every mechanic the game has to offer.

She’s pretty mid when you put her to fight in a swarm enemies cause of her auto target is sh*t but when in single target like a boss, yeah she is a menace

Imo she is more of Yoimiya of WuWa than Amber even though it'll make sense she's equivalent to Amber in terms of being a starter character.

I feel like Yang Yang is more Amber like since she's the one who accompany the traveler most of the time. Chixia mostly just stay in the city as a side character.

Fun fact :- If you keep dodging it's 2v1 almost 90% of the fight... If you keep parrying it's 1v1 almost 90% of the fight...

@@alvin8521 if you continuously parry the tempest mephis, his clone rarely shows up so it becomes easier to fight him 1v1... But if you just dodge then his clone keeps popping up making the fight 2v1 most of the time...

But for Chixia it feels like 2v1 is better (if you can manage it ofc) since she gets twice the number of dodge counters which always hit from anywhere.

@@jaywalker32 yes greater risk but also greater reward. But it won't be that easy because sometimes the clone hits you from the opposite direction or sometimes it's hiding behind the main one...XD

Trust me when I say that Chixia can solo any boss and just her alone is all you need. BUT remember, it's much fun to play whichever character you like ;)

I like one 3 cost atk % and one 3 cost elem %. I saw a little difference, that's why I ran it like this. But yeah, try out things!

It's a ton of diminish since chixia has a ton of self atk% buff with dupes. You'd be better off with even a purple fusion main

You were using crit rate food right? Because 70% crit rate doesn't add up from your echo stats and weapon

Understandable. People were saying that she is tier C or D but I didn't believe it so.. here we are :)). It's all depend on who you like to play :D

Blud be trippin 💀Those dodges are INSANE. I never thought that chixia would be THAT STRONG. AND YOUR ECHOES ARE NOT EVEN FULLY MADE! That is the most impressive things i ever seen. Keep it up! 💣🔥 (and one last thing just out of curiousity. do you think it is better to run attack% 3cost then elem%?)

Thank you! I did a test run on both elements atk and atk % I used Boom Boom as a test and I feel like 1 element 3 cost and 1 atk 3 cost is better for me instead 2 elements 3 cost. The difference is about 3k dmg. But feel free to test out.

@cubedragonFL no, you might be absolutely right. My current echo stats are bad, but the main stats are more then enough to beat the bosses. I don't have enough material to upgrade.

@@KeiceKyCh bad? You have 70% crit rate and 250% crit dmg with alot of basic atk% Most people have 40% crit rate with 180% crit dmg. THATS bad echo substats.

with equal proficiency for each character, who do you think gonna be faster at killing between chixia and aalto?

So, I did tried Aalto against Mour Aix, which is the easiest boss, and I gotta say, Chixia would most likely to top dps than him. Aalto has a unique play style and a lot of fun but I lose dps just trying to form 5 orbs while running around. His dps depends on those orbs a lot.

@stanzzz83 you know, that is actually good question! I know for sure that Chixia won't change much of her dps if she is c6, but Aalto c6, I can't tell. I only have Aalto c1 and Chixia c2 :(.

@austinlim54 Yeah, I actually, had a chance to play her in CBT2 and I had a thought about maining her so I skipped fully the standard banner, instead, I used all my pulls to pull for weapon banner and it helped a lot!

Stats is shown in the video and her cons are: - She can't block atks which means you will have to focus on dodging a lot - Since you're dodging most of the time, her strongest atk, which is BOOM BOOM, you won't be able to use it a lot so you have to time it. - If you are too near to the boss, your shots are going to miss! - Her heavie atk is useless for real. - You have to atleast get one copy of her to get that guarantee crit for her skill. This is all I can think of as of right now! But it all comes down to... if you like the character and does she fit your play style ;)

In my opinion, Chixia would be better than Aalto and she is top tier f2p friendly. But to be honest, after over 100 hours, I feel like this game has no "tier list". But, this is just my opinion.

Depend on what you like and what not. If you already have your favorite character, then don't because you will be wasting a lot of material. Material are not cheap, Unfortunately. :(

@@raymondgara I had a plan when Wuthering Waves came out. I skipped all regular banners and used all my normal pulls for the weapon banner. It helped a lot but you can always upgrade a 4star weapon that gives Atk and Atk %. It's actually good for her.
