Not a priority by any means but the chip damage from higher skill level helps in avoiding the "barely any hp remaining" situation a bit more often which is good in my book. Also makes her a bit better dealing with those dumb pylons that don't take any anomaly damage, this one is an extremely niche application though for sure although seeing how dominant she is I wouldn't be surprised if mihoyo added even more structures that take zero anomaly damage in the future to keep her and future anomaly characters a bit more in check lmao. I certainly wouldn't bother with them in a situation where I still need to upgrade some other characters

@@banbanssss nope, The final Anomaly DMG is not determined by the Anomaly Proficiency panel of the final trigger or the first trigger but is based on the proportion of Anomaly Buildup by each participating character. In other words, the proportion of a character's contribution to the Anomaly Buildup determines the extent to which their Proficiency is referenced in the final damage calculation. For example, jane build up 70%, neko 30%, 70% of the assault damage will use jane stat, but the 30% remaining damage will use neko stat That's why if you're using piper, it's not good too for jane, the best way to use jane is pair her with a character with different element, such as grace

Its for bosses like Butcher n Nineveh, they eat parry gauge like candies, and throw Seth too far to do assist follow up.

@@Young_Mon you need to use charged basic to get anomaly resistance shred from seth. ideally you maintain the shield with just parries and do what they're doing in this vid which is swapping out while seth is using charged basic since charged basic is just for applying the res shred and jane already has the shield. that's like giga optimizing though you can just use his regular ex special into charged basic if you want

just level up her ult, it deals quite nice raw damage, like 100k ish total or so, the encounters which you'll rely on ult would be Bosses, squeezing in that extra 100k would probably save you time, even though the chance you're close to failing it in time attack with Jane is kinda low.

ive just built Jane with 425 anomaly proficiency (AP), so im getting 600 AP while in passion state. she hits hard while ive only maxed out core talent the ult level 12. im getting tons of damage or oneshots on grunts.

Decided to max her and I cleared all of shiyu with her because she's busted. I went broke on denny's for a day but now I'm back to a million because of the coffee event and another event just started. Also I was finally able to S clear the challenge missions from all chapters because I was saving for Jane since day one and didn't have a busted character yet.

for jane you mostly parry with seth and go back to her so its her dodge counter and basics that you should upgrade cuz you will be spamming that a lot against bosses skill also does a lot of daze so its good to level but chain and assist kinda not that important its good to have lower investment characters in these games with a lot of grind

@@thehunterkillerxg162 If you did not get enough parries you need to use his EX skill to generate his bar. You can see this when I fight the bulldozer compared to the brute. The bulldozer doesn't give nearly as many parries so I do have to use his EX to get the special attack.

Thanks for the showcase. I think hoyo needs to change how some characters level their skills. She's not a traditional damage dealer, and yet her skills level up like she is. They need to change it because leveling it up does extremely little to nothing for the cost of raising her skill levels.

There's a argument that it makes her even more f2p friendly since 90% of her kit comes from core skill. Which makes it easier/cheaper to build.

No reason to change what was the case in all Hoyo games. For example in Gensyand HSR you never lvl up half of characters kit, healers/tanks 90% upgrades only talent/ult, half character never upgrades basic attacks e.t.c. So she is the same.

It's just click bait to say she doesn't need skill levels. You didn't adjust your playstyle to account for higher skill levels and just did the same thing. Enemies getting dazed sooner etc. That said, every second counts. It's the same way in HSR where people like to skip getting the last couple nodes like hp% or def% on supports or even on carries, but it really does make a difference. There's literally zero cost. You'll have enough resources to fully max out every character eventually. It's only difficult right now because the game is relatively new and most players are barely able to make a team for each element. You can choose to lower priority on leveling her skills but it's always going to be worth it to level it eventually.
