Hope this game keeps the hard level to max. Hate it when the game gets too easy. It'll be nice if the world is multiplayer too. And I love the vibe the game has. I loved the speed of combat, but I'm curious about the team mechanics. I didn't see any moments where it seemed like a character was "giving team buff" or placing some debuff or special status for another to take advantage of. Anything related to the elements too, like Genshin reactions. I saw some changes between the combos that perhaps confirm that there is some system like the QTE actions in Honkai Impact 3rd, but I'm not sure.

im pretty sure it's a mix of all that stuff. slow on evasion, elemental reactions, grapples, armor breaking. and I'm pretty sure I saw a counter but it's not the usual counter, more like you have to wait for a specific attack and return it back to the enemy to stun them. it's closer to hack and slash mechanics in a sense

It doesn't work by genshin standards if that's what you meant. Elemenal reaction (concerto effects) in this game only procs when you do a special QTE (when the mark thingy beside the character fills then you swap to a character) the concerto effect triggers giving you unique effect depending on what element interact there's a big ass chart that explains all the possible interactions of the elements and i still haven't memorized it.
