Nice, but it's harder to parry while attacking. I haven't found the delay it needs for another button press to stop being recognized as attacking one more vs a parry. Maybe that's when you should use the skill button instead?

I mean it basically seems like you should be unloading whatever you need to recover forte gauge in the recovery window of the parry, and be kind of patient otherwise. Like, if i'm using Calcharo and i already have my forte filled: parry -> do heavy attack -> skill/basic combo to fill my forte back up -> Wait for another parry Rinse & repeat until they go into stagger so i can ult

Just dont Dont attack when you cant stunlock enemy (which is bosses for most part) unless you're recently parried him or his stagger bar is broken

You can swap to another character and use the "intro attack" to parry. All characters do 1 intro attack upon going on field.

Little reminder, Encore can parry in her ult, and if u r skilled enough, I have seen some "monster" parry using her plung attack

Just watching you party and dodge makes me feel like I can do it. I was trying to fight that same boss earlier but kept dying over and over. I think I just need to treat parrying as if it's a Dodge with an attack instead of spamming attacks when I see the circle. Also I think I was just tired and hungry at the time when I was fighting the boss 😅

If you're on PC make sure your controller is wired and unpair your PS5 controller from Bluetooth settings. If you're on mobile, tough luck, we'll have to wait for Kuro Games to add it in.

I don't understand the purpose of the circle . I always fail to parry when I wait for the yellow circle but the enemy attacks without it showing up, and a lot of times I successfully parry (usually by accident) an enemy's attack that does not have the yellow circle

I've parried on gun before however it doesn't work like normal parry does. I've seen it mostly during a dodge, not before or after, but during. I don't quite understand how to get it to work all the time in fact it is very rarely but I really want to fully figure it out.

I still dont understand the special echo parry. Some bosses have unique indicators on some of their attacks but doesn't seem to be parryable, not even with the green heron. Or, well, i just suck at the game.

There's this one stone golem that is specifically made for parrying. Assuming this is a melee attack, it should do the trick

@@legacymse7095 yeah, that one stone golem and purple heron does negate damage, but they don't stagger the enemy. I'm talking about the kind of parrying that staggers the enemy. I think so far there's only the green heron for the echo parry mechanic, and the various indicators are so far nonsensical to me.

guess i am too dumb .... i dont even get the lvl 50 rocksteady down in the tower. To me its all yellow, all circles and i dont get a single parry except by accidant... i dont get it. The mob also doesnt have that nice circle like in the video. Everything the rocksteady does seem to have some sort of circle effects....

Yes, in his second phase there is a slight delay for it, you can parry it if you time it right

"Skill Issue" Meanwhile me, somehow managing to parry the overworld enemies while spamming and thinking i can take Hologram and then die afterwards. Makes me sad he calls that skill issues while I'm suffering even trying to parry one attack.

its probably because you try use his 1st basic attack to parry which a thrust move and it can't parry, his 2nd basic attack is a slash movement so it can parry. i think the game tutorial fail to mentioned this that only certain movement that could parry, not all of attack movement could parry.
