trust me been there done that with minecraft back in the day on a notebook playing with 2 render distance using optifine, all low settings and getting a solid 6fps 😂. Just hold out knowing you'll get a better pc someday!

Agreed. I played this phone with 4gb phone ram, on the same processsor helio g99, vs 12gb ram, and the 12gb ram runs so much better. its because wuthering waves uses a lot of textures more than genshin.

​@@1_43really, are you a iphone user or android user if you android user you can feel the difference about 12gb and 4gb the difference was much even with 8gb vs 12gb ram can feel the diffrence like when i play genshin in 6gb ram i feel the medium graphic i feel the lag spike like from it was normal until for sometime its lag spike and then back normal meanwhile the 12gb phone i can play medium graphic normally without lag spikes same brand and same processor. Common, I'm sure that 4gb of ram comes with a worse processor than that 12gb phone, while I agree 4gb is nowhere near suffienct even for optimized games the processor or SoC plays a much larger role in a smooth experience

The memory leak for this game is insane. I have 32gb and my pc will stay idle with 70% of my ram being used out of nowhere after playing WuWa long.

check the task manager, game is running in the background, eating ram memory make sure always end task the game after exiting .

Have you had any success optimizing this? I'm on a 4070ti , run Genshin at 4k+ with zero issues but Waves averages like 50fps for me running around the world at whatever resolution I try. I don't see anyone still complaining about it though.

If anyone using laptops with Nvidia GPU, Wuthering waves is using integrated graphics by default after updating drivers if you play on laptop. Change it to use the dGPU in nvidia control pael. Add it manually because 99% of the time it is not automatically detected by nvidia. Also turn of memory integrity in core isolation, it fixed my stuttering. My laptop is Asus Tuf f15 intel i5 11400H rtx 3050 and 8 gb ram

if you find your game sometime lagged to low fps then went bac to 60 then it ram problem. if your game run with shuttering then it definitely cuz of cpu.

My PSU kicked the bucket two days ago and now I'm stuck with a broadwell laptop temporarily. I don't have the figures, but it has to be in the single digits in fights and less than 20 in the open world. Unplayable. On mobile, 8+ Gen 1 can't even hold 60 consistently, but at least it doesn't heat up as much compared to other games. Lowest FPS I saw was 27 in Co-Op. CPU bottlenecked in all of my devices. This game takes the cake of worst frame times and consistency currently installed on my currently broken PC!

Maybe you shouldn't be playing this game on 60 FPS when you have 8 Gigs of RAM! It's a single player title anyway, so I guess 30 FPS or 45 FPS will still do the job

I mentioned the fps unlock during recording but left it out of the video; I most likely will not be uncapping the fps because it requires installing a separate programme, and I believe there are a few potential problems with playing at 120 fps at the moment, though I could be misinformed.

Like wtf they are smocking to use UE4 for a game like this, they can't afford to use unity and now the game runs like shit, memory leak, slow shaders compilation, stuttering on high end pc's, a game that require skills and high precision lags every sec/min is just pure hell. They had cbt2 and tons of feedbacks they had time, now some ppl even using Genshin to clear the garbage Ww leave in the memory and the funny part it is working xD I will play till 1.1 is out if they didn't fix their game I'm dropping it.

@@TheFPSTester i have tested with msi afterburner while on combat, my cpu is not being fully utilized hovering around 55 - 70 percent usage while my gpu is at 90 - 100 percent usage. You could say that my pc is gpu bottlenecked or the game is gpu bound but it shouldn't be stuttery that it's a mess. My fps actually hits 60 fps consistently but like I've said it's stuttery. I also noticed that my ram being eaten like a buffet using almost all of 16GB. So maybe the game's minimum requirements should be 32gb ram?? Which is absurd for a gacha game.

Y, most game is doing fine with 8gb ram even though the usage can reach 100% sometimes but u dont have to worry abt that as long running at DUAL CHANNEL. Doesnt matter if you have 64gb stick ram BUT still running at SINGLE CHANNEL the peformance will suck

The reason is the background running. I always got almost 10gb on a very high ram capacity while running this game with windows tweaks as possible i ealier did, so 8gb is very much possible. This is used windows 10 instead 11.

Your hdd maybe just old or cannot run as fast as SSD one because this game need to stream texture which usually depend on your drives speed, for me ssd will works better because it's just faster in general especially m.2 one. but if your game keep stuttering even on other AAA games like cyberpunk, etc. and slow loading time it might be happening because it's failing. Unreal Engine usually will eat a lot of resources especially in term of texture streaming which use your drive speed and ram and this game was using UE also it was so hard to optimize game in UE. That's why Genshin Impact/Tower of Fantasy heck even PGR could run better on hdd/old machine because they're using Unity and not UE.

simply, it sucks because ur pings, ur using HDD/SSD, game needs runs at Nvme, ur GPU is low GHZ, and low Ram atleast 4GB GDDR6, this game using around 11 - 12 GB ram for best average fps, and last but not least the game is not optimized, is more laggy than the Beta v2 version

my PC have RTX 2060 super, i5-9400f, 16Gb, MAG B365M MORTAR, and the game ( medium setting ) keep lagging ... is it because of my CPU bottlenecking my GPU or the other way around ?? i run the game and i saw my FPS at 60and it go up and down it's not stable , GPU usage is around 0-40~50% and it keep jumping up and down and my CPU usage is 100% , temp ~80~82C but when i play Genshin my PC run fine with GPU usage at 50~60% and CPU usage around 80 ~100% , temp 70~75C . i don't know much about computer and i want to upgrade my PC in the future but my budget is not much so i don't want to upgrade the wrong part because it will took me a long time to save up and get another part for my PC , if somebody know or have suggestions please help me !

Your system is a little too low-spec to play this game smoothly. The i7 4770 will struggle to keep a stable 60 FPS, and 8GB of RAM is insufficient. I'm not sure how the GT 1030 performs, but it's likely to be underpowered for this game.

Try updating your gpu driver, enable hardware acceleration in the "Graphics Settings" on your windows settings and add Wuwa to your high performance list. Also make some tweaks to nvidia panel (that nvidia 3d graphics settings menu) watching a youtube video to get the most optimal performance on your card. Also lower your shadow quality in game and make sure you are running the game on 1080p or less. Also check if you are running the pc client of tge game rather than android emulator version
