@@gqigg1.3 Main Quest should've been an arc of itself that's spread throughout a couple patches. We didn't get enough time to care about SK, so why should we really bother with trying to save her lmfao. I honestly think that we should've failed to save Black Shores and SK, and that we'd just go back to save them a couple patches later. In comparison, we care more about Encore because we already interacted with her in 1.0, and that she had a couple of appearances right after. Hell, they teased the main plot of her story with her 1.0 teaser. Her quest was just set up better compared to SK's, hence it landed better.

I became a mother this year, to a little girl of my own- and I just have to say this mission made me ugly cry and sob and all that stuff. The writing for this game is really great, and I have gotten so emotional with game, more than any other game I've played- and I've played so many. Thanks for bringing so much emotion into the story, that's why this game has become my favorite!

As a daughter with a terminally sick mother, this story deeply resonanted with me, i cried so much towards the ending, especially the part where encore hears her mothers voice😭 The music and scenery were truly beautiful. This is hands down the best resonator story for me, man i wish we could replay resonator stories. KURO PLEASEE MAKE THIS POSSIBLE

Dear Kuro, i fell in love with this game since launch. All the beautiful stories which were told were all so emotional and beautiful made but this story was really really heartbreaking for me. I lost my mother when I was 8 years old since then my life got harder from then on. I rarely had friends and my bond with my father wasnt that strong at that time. My mother meant everything to me. Luckily even at the darkest time I met a true friend and he showed me how beautiful life can be. Through him my connection with my father became strong and I met new friends I have until today. Even when our ways got separated I am still tah kful for all the things he has done for me. I cried during this whole story cause it reminded me my short time with my wonderful mum. It was like I was part of this story. I really appreciate the work you have done for this, all the love and emotions you put into it I felt it all. I know my mother is always with me, even though she isn't alice anymore, in my soul and heart she is. Thanks so much for this, it really meant everything to me ❤❤❤. Encore and Ying are like I was when I was a little kid. Mum, keep watching us from above and take care until we meet again ❤🥹

Wuthering Waves has altered the way I see mobile gaming, I’ve never been invested into a game like I have been with this one since launch. I’m a creator so when a banger like WuWa drops it makes creating that much more fun. With so much going on in the world, it’s a great way to get away+bring ppl together to create a community with great story arcs & characters we can relate to; all while having the best combat system to boot. I NEVER thought I would want to play Encore’s companion story but BRUH…never sleep on Kuro 😭 I’m writing this for real WuWa gamers/fans. I've just finished Encore's quest.. This one particularly resonated deep within myself. I've been through rough times in my life, but I surprisingly never gave up, hope is the last bastion of life, and this very cute & simple story has shown it very well, especially from a child/young person's perspective but I do think that it does work exactly the same for an adult because, our lives are nothing but a means to an end, and we are all equal infront of death. Encore's story, but also Ying, deeply touched me, it's sad & beautiful at the same time, I usually am strong, even harsh sometimes due to my past, but this quest did comfort me in a strange way.. Cherish all you have while you can people, take care of yourself and your beloved ones ffs.. we only have one single, fragile life. And even we suffer from our losses, souvenirs remain, as long as we'll be able to picture any kind of good old moments, that's all that matters. Thank you(again) Kuro for that quest. Video games will always be more than just a simple job, they are the incarnation of our imagination in physical world.

I was thinking not too long ago that my ShoKe, Changli, Encore (double carry) team felt weak with Encore as the main, and I wanted to replace her with a new Fusion carry...Now Encore will never leave that fusion team and I might be an Encore main now. I don't know if her mother named her Encore or if it's her code name, but my head canon is that she chose it to be the Encore for her mother and I cried 3 times during this COMPANION STORY. ShoKe's story got me too, but not as hard as this one. Although I _do_ have a very soft spot for children.(e.g. episode 10 of Violet Evergarden) Maybe I'll get to have my own some day.

Kuro-chan knows very well how to provide a very interesting story and convey emotions so the overall result becomes a whirling rollercoaster. Even though I'm a grown-up man, I don't remember crying that much while experiencing a game content. The last time, when I became so devastated, was with Final Fantasy 14, Katawa Shoujo and Clannad. Well done and keep going strong, Kuro-chan! 🥰 We got an emotional luggage during Shorekeeper's story in 1.3 update but Encore's companion quest is something more special on very different level, it hits you with a double punch straight into heart and tears apart from inside. Lots of messages to convey feelings make you reminisce your time spent with relatives who aren't with you anymore but watching over you from other plane. The next thing you really think about is to stop for a moment and take a while to appreciate and cherish every little moment with the ones who are still around you since you know that no one is eternal. Encore and Ying opened old wounds which I thought were healed already, pain of children is always a trigger to break some kind of bulletproof defense system. No matter that 20 years passed after mother's death already and how much I've came with terms to move forward, she's still present in heart and thoughts. I think I'll miss her until we meet again at appropriate time when she'll hear about my adventures to trigger happy ending. Thank you for WuWa and such wholesome experience with game so far, Kuro-chan~

Finally better story telling. For me this is better story than any companion or main story quest. For me the main quest for shorekeeper has win in animation and story quest for it has need to be. But the story telling it self got some lack in it like i still can't get why shorekeepen act that way and why so many people be kind and really give secret to rover easyly just because rover is so popular. Is so many why question in it. But wncore companion story is make it simple yet undersatble and emotional at the same time. Still there is question that has not answer but is really clear that i think they make it still secret like how encore power come from and why encore work for blackshore full time in the kid age. But all of this is the mystery that i like because they make sure is secret and by not mention it rather just show encore got power because of weird reason. I rated this story 9/10

It's not cause Rover is popular. It's cause he's the one who established Black Shores and led the civilizations against the Lament for thousands of years. Shorekeeper acts that way towards them cause they have been companions for literally eons. It's explained in the quest itself

Thank you Kuro for creating this wonderful game. I cried while playing this story for 6 times! Usually I hardly cry but this story is just too good and emotional. I first cried when our first talking with Ying. Both Ying and Encore are too cute. I'm glad I got Encore from Shorekeeper banner I will build her next after Camellya.
