I’ve noticed many parallels between this show and Last Twilight (and not just that Namtan and Film were in both series). Both Day and May (interesting how they rhyme) lose their site in a violent manner, both of them are determined not to be pitied, and there was even a reference at one point in this series to The Little Prince. But I doubt they will have May regain her sight in the way Day did because Day was always open to the possibility of a surgery that would restore his sight, whereas May appears to be adamantly opposed to such surgery. I wasn’t particularly bothered by Day getting his sight back because that was always a hope of his, but I do feel it would be inappropriate for that to happen to May given the way her character is presented to us.

The revelation is not surprising. Although May is blind but she's not stupid. Oom and Ai are twins but they have different smell, mannerisms, style, voice....how can May can't detect that? Blind people are more sensitive than those who can see. But for me, i cant say if that is truly love when their relationship are based in lies and deceit. They have a lot of time together but they never find time to confess the truth. I can only say that its true love when after finding time to confess about truth there is acceptance and not letting go.

When you've not been loved and taken care of your entire life and someone finally actually starts caring about you, do you know the fear of losing them? I'm not justifying them lying but it's important for viewers to connect to the characters and think from their pov. Sure the time will come when they tell the truth to eo. For May, there's a lot more to the story of her knowing Ai. Let's be patient

I don't know about other countries but as an asian and according to what ive seen , the type of parenting is very isolating like everyone has their respective roles and they have to maintain it . Not like helping each other out or sharing the responsibilities to make it less harder on everyone's side . And if u try to do that , it will be seen as offensive and wrong ; feels like factory workers more than family members , very upsetting if u think about it . I love how this show is portraying such important topics in today's world !!

Apparently May has known both of them. And from what she said, the one she has always had feelings for was Ai. But then she ended up dating Oom thinking it was Ai but it turns out she had been mistaken. That's so messy. We need another flashback of how May and Ai met. Also..... Ai girl, how come you don't remember her??? 😮‍💨😂🤦

Please remember the scene where Ai went to Oom's school pretending to be her. Then their argument because something happened with the bullies... And if Ai and May met before, how can Ai not remember it?

@magda1986ify yeah i remember all that. Ai took care of some bullies that got back to Oom later. So, Ai and May must have met on that incident. Why she doesn't remember May is truly beyond me 😂

That why May is Ai's Pluto. Like Pluto, in life we encounter people we knce knew,met or be friend but as time goes by we forget them. We start a new life without them like Pluto,a forgotten planet.

The parents passed away in a car accident when they were on the way to the hospital since oom was sick I think it’s revealed in the episode where the grandma grabs ooms hands and oom lets go of oons hand

Also in the episode where oon goes to see kosol and pang near the bridge kosol says Ben is still bedridden since he’s disabled(?) I think !!

⁠@@rovahh127 I also remember them stating that Ben was bedridden, though when Kosol said that Ben refused to join them when the group visited Ben’s mother’s grave, that suggests he could have joined them somehow, maybe in a wheelchair. It also struck me that it would be interesting if part of Ben’s disability is that he was also blinded.

I'm glad that May had a chance to spend time with Ai and got to know her before Oom wakes up. At first I was very disappointed that another GM GL series has this huge lie plot between the main characters. I kinda like it in this series because May really helped Ai see her worth in a way that I'm not sure she ever would have. It's still terrible don't get me wrong but I understand it more here in this context.

Ai has been saying this Oom whenever she talks to May about herself. After the first day they met she stopped dressing like Oom and just been herself. If you go back, which as a reactor I know you don't have time for that, but you can definitely tell she's not putting on the façade any longer. It was easy for May to tell the difference.

If they make May see again. It defeats the whole purpose of the show. May is a strong handicapped lesbian woman who has not given up on her life, dreams, and love. This show builds on the strengths and relationships of two often ignored minorities of society. The LGBTQ and handicapped. To degrade that by saying everything can be fixed by making her see again. Is just bad writing.

First of all, there are different kind of blindness. And May's condition was caused by a hemorrhage. And yes, blindness caused by hemorrhage can be cured 🤷‍♀️

@MaryJoiceOteda-v6g that's not the point. The point is you tell a great story dealing with the issues of the handicapped in everyday life and relationships. You're attempting to teach and make people think about what the blind go through in life. And how some people can accept you and not see you as a burden or shouldn't pity you. Then you say at the end, but you would be better if we make you see. Most can't be made to see in the end. You can have your opinion, but to me, it's no different than when a show makes a girl bisexual and falls for a girl. Then, at the end, they give her to the guy. You showed her struggles at figuring out who she is, then you make her struggles irrelevant by returning her to the norm.
