WVEC-TV Channel 13, Hampton/Norfolk,VA Sign-off from Summer 1989

A fuzzy black-and-white recording captured by the Webmaster at his home near Winston-Salem NC, 250-plus miles away from the Hampton Roads area of Virginia. The sign-off is the same as the WVEC-TV sign-off from several years earlier except for the "Spirit" station ID graphic. The sign-off is preceded by about a minute of video of a fireworks display in nearby Newport News (which might indicate that I recorded this on or around Independence Day), and commercials for USAir and Wendy's. This was recorded the same night I captured the WAVY-TV 10 (Portsmouth) sign-off, which I received in color).
