There was no horse playing involved. that fourth grader is being a bully, and he did what he did to hurt that little second grader. I hope they get the answers that they deserve and the justice they deserve, because that fourth grader and anybody else involved needs to be punished!. My prayers to that little boy and his family. And I hope he makes a full and healthy recovery🙏

to me it sounds like the 4th grader is imitating behavior he's seen somewhere else. 4th graders wouldn't know how to hang someone, much less know that it would hurt them so badly and even mock them by saying 'let me show you how i did people back in the day' unless someone showed them these things... they should do an investigation on the 4th grader's parents!!

I didn’t come from TikTok, but I at first thought both the boys were black. When I processed the 4th grader’s statement, I realized the racial motivation. People should be very cautious when teaching kids about racism in history and current events; make sure they know racism is wrong.

The BS of this being "horseplay" aside, I don't know about most folks but when I was in school it was super uncool to play with someone younger than you. Even if you were friends outside of school it was very taboo to play with them at school. The teachers actively discouraged it too because older kids were too rough and often bullied the younger ones or got them to do things they knew would get them in trouble. It wasn't until middle school and high school that was acceptable and even then it was within a year of your own grade (sometimes 2 years in high school if say your friend failed a grade). Not saying all older kids are gonna bully the younger kids obviously but there was a reason the teachers reinforced it and a reason they stopped doing so for the older grades. Also no kid actually says "horseplay"; horseplay is a word used by adults to try to downplay what kids do to each other when they say they were "just playing around" so they don't get in trouble because they know they were in the wrong. The fact that adults are buying this is just sad. Not looking to argue, just stating my opinion as a former child (who also got bullied but was too young and stupid to realize I was being bullied before it happened) and current little sister. Better be some consequences so he learns his lesson.. also a school councilor also so they can get to the root of why he would do that to another child in the first place
@Lauren-bd2fr10 күн бұрын
if the older kid has aspd, they probably chose a weaker target to get off on the power. People tend to forget that this is how many serial killers start out as kids

I pray that this child also gets the emotional help and support he will certainly need. Praying that they find a better more supportive school for him ASAP. He will likely relive this ordeal every time he has to go to the bathroom
@mramirez52398 күн бұрын
Answers?? They need to sue for years of therapy. He will need more than time. That's a cover-up story. Forget answers. Demand prosecution of that other student's parents and hold them accountable in a court of law and get a psych eval on that other student and put in juvi.

It sounds like the fourth grader grabbed the kid wearing a jacket that was zipped up and hung him by the hood on the door hook. He probably thought it would be funny and likely didn't intend for serious injury. He may have seen it in a movie where it was the bullies comeuppance and very funny. Nevertheless, due to the serious outcome, this needs to become a police investigation, not handled by the school. The kid was definitely bullying the second grade, not horseplay, even if his intention wasn't to injure him.
@glowinthedarkzombie7 күн бұрын
They didn't outwardly mention it but it was confirmed racially motivated by the way. That 4th grader literally said "back in my day" or "back in the day" both of which should be pretty obvious. Which yeah, it's VERY commonly shown to young (mainly) white (mainly) males as a silly haha funny joke. But that's kind of what the video is about how that is THE problem.

(I've seen another video showing what the door looks like. There's two hooks one that's closer to the floor the other near the top) I can understand playing around and getting caught on the second hook but it wouldn't cause a injury that serious but the top hook is hard for a second grader to get caught on. The older kid has to have to intentionally pick the boy up to put him on there to get stuck like that

Its irresponsible to keep labeling this a "hanging". What happened to the kid wasnt right, absolutely shouldn't have happened. But he was hung up by the back of his jacket, not a rope around the neck, which is what the term "hanging" implies.

Children learn hate from their parents. And this hate is being amplified here in America and the next 4 years will only get worse. The mother initially said this wasn’t a hate crime. She was very adamant about that. Now the child’s race is being mentioned and mom is saying it was intentionally done and he even said something derogatory to her son. Which is it? Why did she change her stance? Let the investigation finish before jumping to conclusions. The principal saved the boys life but no one notices that.
@glowinthedarkzombie7 күн бұрын
Bro he said "back in my day" 💀💀 even if that 4th grader didn't fully consciously know what he was saying was racism, like everyone's saying, kids get it from somewhere. And as someone who was literally raised to be racist...that's just the sad truth. I need you to understand that there are in fact hundreds of thousands of children, mostly white, running around spreading racism mostly without even fully comprehending their actions or the extent of their consequences. That's. Kinda the problem!
