The USSR never even started fighting the Nazis until 1941, right around the same time the United States declared war on Imperial Japan. The soviets were even getting absolutely fucking hammered until 1942. In the fall of 1942 the United States and Britain launched an invasion on German controlled French North Africa, called Operation Torch. By summer of 1943, the Allies, mainly the U.S and Britain invaded Sicily (Operation Husky) while the USSR was still trying to push the Germans out of Russian land in the battle of Kursk. For majority of the war, the Soviets were still on the DEFENSIVE while the U.S and Britain were taking the fight TO the Germans! Don't even get me STARTED on the pacific campaign either! Iwo Jima Pelelui Wake Island Midway Okinawa The Makin Atol Raid and numerous other small island raids The destruction of the Yamato HIROSHIMA AND NAGASAKI People who claim that the Soviets did "most of the work" are the same people who believe the U.S never fired a shot at a german troop until D-Day, and that is disgraceful. There were two major Operations against the Germans led by the U.S and Britain before the Soviets even managed to push the Germans OUT of Russia!

Well, actually the leader of Italy (Mussolini) haven't changed sides, only the C.L.N. (National Liberation Committee) did, but it was an obvious thing since in Fascist Italy there wasn't any freedom, but Mussolini remained a fascist and stayed in the north fighting against the partisans and the allies, later he was executed by a partisan. So... Italy itself haven't changed sides, but the people did (thankfully there were the partisans).

Italy wasn't prepared for the war to start in 1939, in fact after the munich conference in 1938 Mussolini told Hitler that Italy wouldn't be ready for war before 1943 and the german dictator agreed with Mussolini that Germany would wait 4-5 years before starting the war. As for Greece the german invaded them so easely because the largest part of the greek army was fielded on the border with Albania and Wermacht passed through Bulgaria
