For me, the iconic figures were all the Airfix HO/OO/1/72 sets that preceded these 1/32 figures. I first saw them around 1963 or so. Eventually, the poses you see here were all exactly the same as the smaller ones, the earlier versions being somewhat cruder.

Hi, I know there are a lot of inaccuracies but I just wanted to use all the figures I had. You should check out my Stalingrad diorama which I finished a few days ago.

i love it! also, two interesting facts! 1) The Tiger Tank Was One of the Least used tank in the Afrika Korps, Because it would occasionally Break down due to its speed overloading the engine, or sand entering the engine from the tracks kicking up sand. 2) Afrikan Korp Soldiers had a low Air Support Rate, Because the British’s 8th army would use some type of motar to throw a load of sand into the air, causing a type of smoke cloud into the sky, acting as a Anti-Air Technique, Causing The Bf 109’s attacks either ineffective, or to be canceled in general.

amazing diorama, but one thing, why the P-51D mustang, not the correct plane. Did you mean to have a Messerschmitt bf 109 or an Heinkel 10. Plus the P-51 wasn't even around yet.

There were No Brit crusader tanks involved in the defence of Tobruk, when the Australians were in there, they used Italian tanks and painted white Kangaroos on the sides so that everybody knew who was inside!

You could also add some captured equipment as if it hadn't been for that Rommel would've lost much earlier. I guess the mustang kinda counts for that Haha. Diorama are alot of fun to build I do like this one.

Hi, the explosions I made out of cotton & sprayed them black.You can check out my Charge of the Light Brigade diorama I have some great look explosions ,I bought the a few years ago on Ebay . There are no markings on them so I don't the company. I went under toy soldiers explosions on Ebay and found them there.

don't get me wrong, this is impressive, i wish i could make dioramas, but for now, just plastic models. if i can make one reccomendation, i would not put two of the same poses of infantarymen together, instead i would put the same pose farther away so they look a bit more like indaviduals. for example the two pistoll guys at 1:40 who are identical, i would put one on the other side of the diorama. anyways, i enjoyed this alot!

I know the diorama is not historically correct. Just use what I have at hand, like the 2 planes are US plane kits but I painted them to look like German planes. Mark

A lot of good effort which would be better if broken into smaller scenarios. Indian, Anzac, LRDG and Brits all in such a small area is highly unlikely. Rommel and his HQ within 50 yards of the British frontline? An American P51 fighter in German colours? Really good effort but it needed researching first.
