But I started doing household chores but left it on in the background. The more it played the more intrigued I became. I am a WWII history buff and a follower of Mark Felton. Anyway I sat down and kept watching and thoroughly enjoyed your work. In particular your significant telling of the post war years. Typically most creators only cover Nuremburg but you dove deeper. Shouldn’t have voted for the Nazis though. It’s hard to feel sorry for them considering the fact that they did far worse things to other countries.

Oh no! Call the whambulance. Ask the Jewish people to apologize. WTF?
@peakAV3 ай бұрын
@@benjamindavid6733 those people don’t need to apologize to Germany, they need to apologize to Palestine and the rest of the world for the creation the evil Zionist state.

And the R*pes and SAs German woman endured during and after the war. More than 2 million German woman and girls were R*ped during the “liberation of Germany”

Germany needed every conquest to be quick so that they could get their men back to the factories. This worked in Poland and France but really fell on its face in Africa and the east. The loss of Norway was one of the largest British blunders of the war imo.

If I may give some constructive criticism; usually your documentaries are top notch, however it is of my opinion that this one missed the mark. I felt This was more of a recap of key events in the German campaigns in WW2 with an unusual emphasis on d day. Given the title I was expecting more in depth personal accounts of how the German people were fairing and coping with the war, rather than just a dry recitation of facts (e.g. x amount of German soldiers died). Apart from that amazing narration and art work as always. As a long time subscriber, I’m Looking forward to future videos

Technically, according to the Tripartite Pact, the Germans were NOT obliged to declare war on the U.S., because Japan, not America, had been the aggressor.

I think if Fire and Maneuver goes well, a Ww2 version could also go well. It would have to be on larger scale and have more orders. Or maybe it could be with squads, like your video that had German infantry squads.

27:16 While this part is really well made and executed, I cannot help but laugh when I remember that one of the reasons the germans thought the allies were landing at Calais is because of a man named Juan Pujol Garcia, also known as "Agent Garbo". A double agent whose whole deal was feeding the germans bad information. He is also one of two people who was decorated by both sides in WW2, earning an Iron Cross, Second Class (Which because he wasn't a soldier means Hitler had to sign off on it which is even funnier) and also a Member of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire award.

Great video combining everything into one place. Does this mean that WW2 content will go on hold for a while? Also 1:05:00 images goes black for a few seconds and 1:07:30 also

I believe there's a mistake about the Berlin Philharmoniker concert on the 12th April 1945. The opera performed was Götterdämmerung by Richard Wagner. It was not Die Walküre.

You guys should do a video on Conrad Von Hotzendorf's disastrous Winter Carpathian offensives of 1914-1915.

Agreed. WW1 is very depressing and deserves more videos like this to cover the sacrifices that the soldiers went through. Lest we forget. 😔
