You got to be kiddin. Few guys with one antitank cannon against 6 tanks and some infantry. How many times did tanks had? They would first aim for the cannon I presume. Some tanks left alone without infantry and then suddenly show up from somewhere just to be shot. Typical old fashion German way movie showing how inefficient Red Army was. The movie is generally ok but this scene is not realistic at all.

This scene IS totally unrealistic. I wonder why the screenwriter didn't show some Germans armed with crossbow and a longsword.

@@spartanlion2819 Im not sure what you mean, it was a mix of both. The Germans had trained soldiers and they had good equipment. (They had terrible winter clothing though.) So did the Soviets however some of their tactics were very old and suicidal, causing the deaths of more soldiers. The life expectancy of a Soviet soldier in Stalingrad was just under 24 hours. That's clearly saying something.

There is a deleted scene. The German soldier, approaching forward at 1:39 is cut in half by a tank grenade and still alive for a few seconds. Most horrific scene of the entire movie.

Я из себя знатока истории второй мировой строить не собираюсь, но единственное упоминание о подобном читал у Виктора Некрасова, его часть шла с черенками для того, чтобы солдаты приобретали привычку на плече ствол держать.Бабы видя это плакали, думая что этим " оружием" они немцев бить собираются. При ротации им оставила оружие убывающая в тыл часть. Всё ! Черенками обещает Кулеба воевать, посмотрим как у него это получится. Чистыми черенки только на складе бывают, это тебе как тыловику должно быть известно. Полдня в работе, и новый от старого не отличить.

В период крестоносцев аюбиды заключили с рыцарями договор, что не будут нападать на Ашкелон, если христиане уберут из Газы свою крепость Гадр. Крепость убрали, после чего аюбиды захватили Ашкелон, нарушив договор, и это было началом конца Латинского королевства. Города района Газы были населены евреями на протяжении веков и тысячелетий, здесь строились синагоги - археологи нашли мозаику самой большой синагоги на Ближнем Востоке с изображением царя Давида, относящейся к 4 веку нашей эры. В византийский период появилась и важная христианская община. Арабы здесь стали селиться только в наше время, когда эта территория, как и весь Израиль стали частью Османской империи. Однако, евреев здесь и тогда было большинство. Здесь происходили важные события еврейской истории, в 17 веке проповедовал Натан Газский, призывая всех следовать за Шабтаем Цви. Египет периодически пытался отвоевать эту территорию, но турки ее себе возвращали. После поражения Турции в Первую мировую войну и прихода англичан, в Газе начинаются страшные еврейские погромы, первый из которых произошел в 1929 г. под влиянием антисемитских проповедей близкого друга Гитлера муфтия Иерусалима Хадж Амина эль-Хусейни. Евреи бегут отсюда, оставляя свою землю арабам. После войны за Независимость и становления государства Израиль эта территория вновь оккупирована Египтом; тогда она и становится «сектором». Сектором, откуда выходят террористы федаюны, нападавшие на еврейских фермеров и совершающие теракты в Израиле. Израильская армия входит сюда во время Шестидневной войны в 1967 г. Здесь основываются еврейские сельскохозяйственные поселки и устанавливаются армейские базы, поддерживающие на территории сектора определенный порядок. Присутствие армии значительно снижает количество терактов, однако они все равно продолжают осуществляться. Египет же, в свою очередь, несказанно рад, что избавился от большого количества людей, стремящихся не процветать, а убивать. В 2005 г. Израиль вышел из сектора Газы, попытавшись создать некую модель «Палестинского государства». Израильтяне, уйдя из сектора, оставили его арабским жителям плодоносящие теплицы, работающие производства и водопроводы. Никакой блокады сектора тогда не было. Газа стала свободным, независимым анклавом. Казалось бы - живи, строй, процветай. Привози технологии, развивай промышленность, строй отели на прекрасных песчаных побережьях сектора. У Газы были все шансы стать новым Сингапуром, минигосударством типа Лихтенштейна или Сан Марино. Однако все оставленные производства были тут же варварски уничтожены, а все средства пущены на производство оружия. К примеру, Франция и Германия подарила сектору 600 миллионов евро на строительство водопровода. Однако, трубы этого водопроводы были тут же порезаны на корпуса для ракет. Удобрения для сельского хозяйства превращены во взрывчатку. Цемент использован для строительства военных бункеров, а не отелей. И мир, да и Израиль продолжали вливать в Газу деньги. В 2007 г. в секторе Газы к власти приходит радикальное движение Хамас, за которое проголосовало подавляющее большинство жителей сектора. Ракеты полетели, несколько последовательных операций, призванных утихомирить обстановку, но не решить проблему, разумеется ни к чему не привели. В Газу по тайным туннелям на границе с Египтом (их более 2000) стало поступать российское и иранское оружие. Вот тогда-то Израилю и пришлось ввести частичную блокаду сектора, чтобы не допустить туда мощное оружие или компоненты для него. Не помогло. Израильские правительства, все до единого, считали, что стрельба по пустым сараям (жителей предупреждали заранее) - достаточная мера, чтобы держать Хамас и его братьев - Исламский джихад, Бригады мучеников Аль Аксы и т.д. - в узде. И в результате мы получили 7 октября 2023 г. После резни, устроенной жителями Газы (большинство не были боевиками Хамаса), отрезания голов еврейским младенцам, вспарывания животов беременным женщинам, сжигания заживо детей, население сектора устроило стотысячные демонстрации радости в каждом городе сектора. Запускались фейерверки, на улицах раздавали конфеты. Такой страшной резни евреев не было со времен Холокоста, да и то - варварство жителей Газы во многом превзошло действия нацистов. Израиль объявил войну. Как говорится, размах был на рубль, главное, чтобы удар был не на копейку… Совершенно очевидно, что мягкими мерами не обойтись. Нам просто не оставили другого пути. Хорошего решения проблемы нет. И жаль, что мир этого до сих пор не понимает

The French countryside didn’t fair much better either during the Normandy Campaign. An unusually hot summer made crossing and fighting in the fields incredibly dusty, blocking visibility and choking people and vehicles, tank crews had a rough time with apples fermenting in their tank, giving off bad fumes and a horrible stench. Plus the Germans were dug in at nearly every hedgerow with machine guns, anti tank guns, and lots of infantry. Flame weapons, mainly Willie Pete were used to devastating effect.

На вооружении вермахта находились также трофейные танки Чехословакии и Франции. 5 500 000 солдат - это нечем ответить? И почему фашисты должны отвечать, если Германия нападает? И как они оказались на Волге если защищались? У вас от пропаганды западных СМИ совсем мозг разъело?

There arent many operational t34/76s left. The t34/85 was used by more nations and was in service a lot longer. Also most t34-76 were destroyed in combat.

The rate of fire of the MG34 seems to be a bit slow. Could be because of the cold weather. This would probably have an effect with the first rounds being fired. Don't understand the need of the commander of the PAK gun to stand up to say 'fire'.

В фильме обозначено, что немецкие фашисты просто молодцы, а советские солдаты полные идиоты. Такого не было. Фильм надо воспринимать как попытку западных стран обелить себя хотя бы с личной стороны, показать стойкость и отвагу немецко-фашистких солдат. Ляп на ляпе. Судя по изображенным в фильме танкам Т-34-85, пошедшими на фронт в конце 1943 - начале 1944 года показан последний период войны. То есть советские солдаты уже выгнали нацичтов со своей территории и вошли в Восточную Европу. Посниье, каким образом, русская армия, разбившая нацистов у себя, ведет себя в показанном бою, при явном преимуществе, как стадо бестолковых баранов??? Любому воевавшему солдату известно, что надо уходить с танка, если по нему ведут огонь. Бойцы, разбившие нацистов, вопреки военному опыту сидят как пчелы, на броне. Что за глупость показали авторы фильма? В действительности, немецкие позиции разобрали бы за 10 минут. Это очевидно любому здравомыслящему человеку. Глупый сюжет могу объяснить только национальностью авторов, страны которых чоевали за нацистов. Авторам хочется взять реванш хотя бы в кино. Глупцы. Хотя для жителей Европы или США с их очень специфическим образованием и полным незнанием истории вполне пойдёт.

That's true. However, it's still one hell of a good battle scene. They probably have hardly any of the earlier model T-34's still around in running condition, which would be why they used the later T-34/85's in this scene. There are still a fair number of those ones around.

that was a practical exercise during my time in the german army as an compulsory service soldier...but my grandfather,who had fought at the eastern, front always told that it was the worst thing to stay in a foxhole during overrun by tanks. because they stop over it and began to turn a few times over the hole.so you get burried alive...he had often sawn that during war.
