@@quigglebert Hey, that's wrong. They have been winning the turret launch challenge for 40 years running! But, honestly, they would slag WW2 German tanks, if the German ones didn't break down first or run out of fuel on the way.

@@jlawsl neither were paticulary good at actually building the tanks they designed, Germans had to go back to the original factory as nothing was standardised, the factory that produced 50% of t34s was given so much production to complete they bodged the vast majority of the vehicles they produced

Finally somebody who understands how to somewhat play a modern tank. He uses speed, stealth and his tech advantage and so on and stays on the outside and uses his superior vision and weapons to flank and shoot inwards without endangering himself. He doesn’t rush in like many others. He stays on the outside and picks them off one by one without them knowing where he is that’s how you should play this.

Agaisnt older tanks* people underestimate ww2 tanks in firepower, a tiger I could maybe even destroy a modern armor, however the tech in modern tanks is way better, like IR view and that, the speed is also improved a lot, about stealth, i dont really know if they are more stealthy like they do less noise or something, maybe they dont appear on radars, however i doubt tanks from ww2 have radars

This, MBTs were never intended to tank enemy fire since the battlefields and weapons of the Cold War were expected to be high lethality. The emphasis was instead put on an MBTs fire control systems to increase first hit probability (thus more firepower) and mobility to move between firing positions which maximises survivability far more than physical armour protection ever could.

Yeah if they waited a little longer the german tanks would have probablly rushed and then leading to the T-90's win, but that wasnt the case i guess.

I hope the developers will add all versions of the T-90. Now there is a T-90A (2004-2011) in the game. It was cool to see the original T-90 (1992-2004), the upgraded T-90AM (2011-2019) and the modern T-90M (2020-present). The T-90, T-90A and T-90AM are upgraded versions of the same tank. The T-90M has a completely new turret, gun, engine, electronics and a new ammunition arrangement.

@@billcollecter4728 Why not? 1. USSR/Russia is one of the most popular nations in the game. 2. It is not necessary to make them mandatory for research. Let them be in the same cell with the base modification located. Or there may be premium ones. 3. Some tanks are quite interesting and very different from other modifications. Here are examples: 3.1 The original T-80 (more like the T-64 on steroids). 3.2 Ukrainian T-84 "Oplot" (there are no Ukrainian tanks in the game now). 3.3 The Russian experimental tank "Black Eagle", which was supposed to continue the T-80 branch. He has a 152 mm gun. It would be a good premium tank. 3.4 Russian BMPT "Terminator" and "Terminator-2". This is an IFV based on the T-72 with lethal anti-tank guns and anti-tank guns. In the game, players also like to fight against tanks on anti-aircraft guns, and this tank was created for this. 3.5 T-95. It was created as a T-90 receiver, but the development was canceled due to the adoption of the UN convention in 1995, which prohibited devices that were installed on this tank. The main feature of the tank is a laser weapon, which was banned. The laser beam blinded the guidance systems of enemy tanks. The matrices of the cameras were falling into disrepair, so the crew saw only a white screen on the monitor. And if you look through ordinary optics or just in the direction of the tank, the crew could lose their eyesight altogether. It's like looking at the sun through a telescope. It could be a new game mechanic. Other features of the tank are a crew in an armored capsule in the hull, a turret without a crew, and a 152mm gun. 3.6 And of course, the T-14 Armata. Now it is classified, but there is already a video that it was sent to Ukraine. From the well-known fact that it has all the features from the T-95 and the Black Eagle, except for the laser. And also the possibility of flexible modification (like a lego constructor, so that you can quickly re-equip it with other weapons). 2 versions of the T-14 tank (125mm and 152mm guns), the T-15 BMP with an automatic cannon and the T-16 BREM (self-propelled repair station) have already been shown.

Not gonna lie Muffin. These new modern versus old videos are amazing to watch. I wish you could see from our eyes how much more entertaining it is to see these modern beasts flex and ‘risk’ their weak spots. Makes the game play more in thralling as you know there is a chance for a lucky flanker. Not to mention top tier tanks literally have to put zero effort into aiming and spotting. So they can pretty much just focus on positioning and trying to get cheeky snipes from across the map on a moving target.

it honestly felt like they threw the first round. not accusing them of that, just the feeling of the play. Its 8 tanks, 2 scouts, and multiple vehicles with long range capability. There was only one way to beat a T-90 there, and that is teamwork.

Modern Japan wouldn't be able to invade ww2 Japan. They'd take out their air force with modern jets, but ground units wouldn't budge the huge numbers of infantry without nukes

in practice a modern tank doesn't work without the engine running, this includes the Russians, it neutralizes the engine and the whole tank becomes a paperweight

The main reasons why the T90 is so dominant, is because Germany just can't get a visual on him. The T90 has thermal optics which allows the player to see from much further away. And because the T90 is much faster, Germany has a hard time pinpointing the T-90's location.

Unfair advantage: You gave the Germans a panther (wtf) as well as another shitty vehicle that god knows what it is. Secondly, you let the T-90 use thermals if it was damage the Germans could have won but letting Turny use thermals was extremely unfair. You should do a redo but without APC and not tank tanks or thermals
