Thanks for this video, my kids just got the suspenders and musette bags for their US kit so tjis was a great help, only trouble I have is the US didn't really make the webbing to suit 12 year olds!

@@WebGearReview Thanks, I am not a fat man, but I would like to match up some originals with my recently purchased '43 OD3 cartridge belts so they hang at and comfortable level. I am not a reenactor . but a shooter . One Hinson and one Midwest. Would prefer a OD 3 pair that isn't nearly white like the repros. Nearly all of my collection was stolen in '20 during a move and after grieving for nearly 2 years I am going to give it another go.

I always found this web gear stuff interesting. It just seems complicated having this pack attach to the suspenders instead of it having its own attached straps! Just my opinion. Cool video though

You’re right it does seem strange not to have backpack straps

For stand alone use, there was an accessory strap with D rings on each end, or the top straps could be let out and clipped to the bottom rings. Way tight, but I'll bet some Paracord would take care of that.
