WW2 US Gear How to Attach the m1945 Combat Pack to the M1945 Cargo Pack

I show how to attach the M 1945 combat field back to the M 1945 cargo pack. The cargo bag could be detached and left behind in the rear as the troops move forward into battle with just the combat pack.

If I could afford it I would by these with the suspenders and use it as a school backpack for when I get into college I would love to tell people it's an old ww2 military backpack system that I bought just to use it for school and see their reaction

Very nice! Although the shoulder straps on my pack had been broken and were tied onto the bottom buckles so I had to mount them onto those very bottom loops

I have what I believe is a 1945 pack, I’ll have to look again I can’t remember exactly but their are no adjustments on the shoulder straps, I thought that was unusual, makes it hard to wear, can you tell me what pack that is? Thanks.
