I wear a size 10.5 in them. 11 in everything else they run big. Original laces work, i use the 40" nylon redish laces. Just gotta lace them tighter. I can tie a normal shoe knot. Originally the whole sole and heel had raw corded soles not just the heel. They recycled rubber from used car tires, which were made with cording inside them to indicate the tire was balding. its why they had them, it wasnt economical to remove the cording. I got these because I waited too long for wwiimp to restock. Ive seen early boots dubbed, circa 42, it seemed to be personal preference. Glad you like the huberds shoe grease. I will eventually buy wwiiimp boots as well. When they have them in stock again in a few years... Those arent hobnails, i believe they are called shoe tacks. I am a bit rusty on my boot anatomy. How many miles you got on those? Soles look fairly good.

I have no idea how many miles but ive been wearing my dockers everyday for about alittle more then a month, also I saw ww2 impressions has size 11,10 etc but they're marked "ee" any idea what that means?
@pepsiboi37984 жыл бұрын
@@TheRealWilliamShawmakes sense, I might try a "ee" if they don't restock anytime soon. Hopefully they dont look goofy. thanks for all the help and info btw

I am thinking of buying a pair. I am a size 11 but I have a wide foot. Should I get a size 12?
@baconidontneedalastname5443 жыл бұрын
@@emmanuelcolon9273 SM wholesale has wide sizes. I’m curious on if they run big. I wear a 14 in tennis shoes, but their 14 is out of stock so I’m wondering if a 13 would work.

hey, when dubbing roughout boots, i heard they become smooth, similar to the other side of the leather. i want to darken and ofc make them water resistent but not loose the iconic rough surface. plz help, im sitting nervously in my room with my new smwholesale boots and some wax but i dont dare to do it yet haha

Liquid or spray silicone waterproofing will darken without changing the surface texture.

I use mink oil and as long as you use a hard bristle brush you can restore the nap of the roughout leather
@barneyfyfe83139 ай бұрын
@@ShutUpBubi Did the surface look that fuzzy (opening picture of the video) when you first got them or is that a result of the brushing you gave them?
@barneyfyfe83139 ай бұрын
Or... is this not your video? If not... sorry for the question.

Obenauf’s Leather Preserve, which is natural beeswax, would be good on rough-out boot suede. It would darken them, make them waterproof and make them smell amazing. Don’t apply too much at once. Start light, then buff with a firm brush.
