WW2 Vintage Black Crackle ZIPPO Lighter

Here's a very nice, WW2 vintage "Black Crackle" ZIPPO lighter that I picked up the other day. The lighter has an early, 1942 production case with a later, 1943-'45, patented insert.
The lighter is in very good condition and works great, as you can see!

Probably shouldn't be doing tricks with that lighter, they stuff up the hinges. Awesome lighter and video however. Would love one of these, sadly the closest I can get is the 1941 replica. :)

I thought the 43-45 lighters had 3 barrel hinges instead of 4 like yours.the 3 vintage black crackle lighters I have all have 3 barrel hinges.u may have the 1942 version.sorry,just noticed u indicated that in ur description.nice original lighter!

I just found one in some junk. Also a brass ww2 lighter I think. You pull down the bottom to expose the wic.

IN SOME JUNK?WHERE THE HELL?man i want one so bad for my collection.i may shell money out next year.120 euros for one is ridiculous but at least it is a steel ww2 actual zippo.by the way the ww2 korea zippos are all steel not brass.brass started being used after since in the war all brass was taken for bullets.
