I'm disappointed that you're still only allowed 3 rivalries a show. It's really annoying and hopefully they up the rivalry quantity to 4 or 5 in 2K20. There should really be a rivalry insert for each division on Raw and Smackdown: Main card, mid-card, tag team, and women's

We know, 2K is ripping folks off every year with the constant game tweaking but no real gaming additions made at all. Rod Designs is right though, just don't even use the rivalries if they're that useless. Just set rivalries between certain wrestlers in the options, and basically see them attack one another during regular singles exhibitions, tag team gaming and; CPU Vs CPU matches (shrugs).

I didn't like that they only have 3 Rivalries either, So what I do, is have Like two shows for Raw, With All of the same Superstars, and use the 3 Rivalries from the second show, as part of the first, so it's like having 6 Rivalries, It just will only show the segments on the other show, but I just keep having matches on the other one

Keep hoping because they won't do it. They claim they listen to the fans but never bring in these kinda additions that the fans request. Still have yet to bring back GM mode or add anything big in Universe mode

One thing I wish they would let you do in Universe mode is change the order of the match card. Sometimes I hate the order they put the matches on the Pay Per View. If you change the card it ends rivalries they should just let you shuffle the order the matches take place. Also change the number of matches you want on a particular show. For instance it usually only lets you have 7 matches on a Pay Per View. 7 matches for WrestleMania isn't that many.

I agree, they should have more matches on ppv especially wrestlemania. If anything the big 4 should have at least 10 matches. All the other ppvs should have 7 and Nxt ppvs should have 6. And they should also allow us to have more then 2 brands for a ppv. They should allow to have 3 of 4 brands a show

I agree with Tony. When you simulate a match, the game asks you who to win the match. As much as I love the Smackdown games, I don't like how the games automatically pick the winner of a match. Like for instance, if I had Eddie Guerrero face Val Venis for the IC title, the game would automatically have Val win the title.

I do like the fact that you can now choose the winners when you sim the matches and now you can choose when to cash in. Those are two great additions. Other then that, everything else in Universe mode looks the same and that's not a bad thing. Are choosing what type of promo you want to cut the same like turning heel or turning face or forming a team, breaking up a team, etc. I'm guessing they didn't add tag team promos this year.

I want it to stay the same as last year but with the included MITB stuff...so I’m happy! I also wish you could change the amount of matches per PPV, have Triple Threat/ Fatal 4-Way and Tag Team Promos, unique promos (Miz TV, Elias with guitar and stool), and better promo functionality overall, but those can easily be improved and are afterthoughts. It’s gonna be fun Edit: Also super glad there is the option to simulate a match and chose who wins, rather than last year where its randomized.

I saw the reason Ciampa wasn't in this year's game is that he was injured when they were getting the superstars. But they could've just used his model from 2k18 and transfer it over to 2k19. I don't know if that is true but that is what I heard to why he is not in the game.

Cupcake Warrior yes you can have up to 6 titles per show you can edit divisions in your universe shows you can even edit match table on shows and add the type of match types that show will feature. So no more battle royals and triple threats every week on RAW

They need to hAve voice overs in this game. If NBA 2K have voice overs for interviews during the game we need to have it for the WWE. I think they’ll fix this in 2K20.

No they don't. It's a time--wasting expense that will vastly limit and stunt the variety of options in promos. Voiceovers are a blight in gaming and have been since Oblivion. If you want to see wrestlers speaking in their voices then go watch a wrestling show. If you want to utilise your imagination and creativity instead, play a game.

Not a lot of big changes. I assume that ala Madden, we will have to wait for a better, more powerful engine update to get some significant changes to Universe. Being able to choose the winner and 6 championships per show is great. But that's not very much to justify a purchase. I will probably buy it, but 2K need to ask Yuke's to do more. MyCareer looks much better though.

Hey what's up... I'm confused about how Power Rankings work in Universe Mode here. For example I had Shelton Benjamin beat The Miz twice, and Benjamin actually dropped in the ranking. After winning those matches he went from rank 25 to rank 46 or so (somewhere in mid 40s)... Meanwhile Miz started at rank 2 and stayed there. (also Miz did not have a title belt) So this is weird... What you think?

Should Def have the Belt, I would LOVE to have Voices, but if they did, instead of say 200 lines of dialogue, we'd have like 30, so it would absolutely Gut whatever the total is.. But my favorite, best Idea/Dream, would be, 'Create A Promo' where we choose the dialogue, and choose the Answers, with each one having whatever of the paths they have, we could have classic promos, Whatever we create, have some that could be Anyone, and some be Superstar Specific, And Lastly, Have 'Create a Promo' be downloadable from Community Creations!?!? That would Add SOOO much to Universe Mode, download Classic Promos From the Rock, Ric Flair, to use in our stories, and Add a ton of Depth to the Rivalries in Universe Mode

Because The Club is formed by AJ Styles, Like Gallows & Karl Anderson. Gallows and Anderson are called the Good Brothers but they don't use it as a tag name. Also, Enzo Amore and Big Cass never called themselves like that.

I tried Universe Mode and simulated two years to start with a random universe but one thing that I noticed is that every team and stable is still there even though I activated Formation/Break-up in the options. Does it not work? Or not when only simulated? I am really confused and it would suck if it didn't work

Well it looks like I’m not going to be getting 2k19 this year cuz IMO this game looks absolutely awful..most of the roster looks like very poorly done CAWs with N64 graphic looking body’s with textures pasted over top and it honestly took over 6 years since 2k12 for them to add a MITB opinion for cashing in and slider options into universal mode..this is all just very lazy programming from people at video game company that doesn’t care much about wrestling like true fans of the wrestling games..also I don’t understand why they can’t see the high demand and comparison universe mode gets to GM mode...it’s been over 10 years yet we all still talk about Gm mode..why doesn’t a company bank on that by adding show vs show, show popularity, money earned with shows, signing talent to your show basically bring back GM mode?...but every year they keep shining this crap over and over..What’s the point of simulation of a wrestling product if you don’t feel like you’re Vince McMahon running the show? I mean we have GMs on raw and smackdown now and not even talked about in the 2k games..it’s been getting very old and I’m done giving money to 2K for this crap

I've been tempted to get this game this year, but if they haven't added new shit to universe mode I'm probably not gonna get it, showcase mode is cool and MyCareer seems cool, but it's not enough to get me hooked, last game to get me hooked was 2k14. Most of my time is gonna be invested in Red Dead Redemption and NBA 2k19.
