I feel like we gravitate to realism too much in the modern games. A lot of new finishers have more of a soft wet slap on a ham rather than a devastating explosion of a kick that can form a crater in a man's face I prefer the more arcade sound and animation style we have in the earlier gens

The falling animations in 17 onwards with the regular corner finisher are a lot smoother in my opinion the way they just drop instead of spinning is just the better animation in my opinion

Yeah, there are a few oversells in the newer games, like with Jake The Snake's DDT, but those are usually when they're at low health, but yeah I'd love to see more oversells.

Day of Reckoning was slept on, I loved Smackdown Shut Your Mouth and all the SvR’s as much as everyone else, but the graphics used in Day of Reckoning always seemed ahead of their time to me. WWE ‘12 also doesn’t get enough love I liked how the wake up taunts were separated from the finisher you felt more in control that way!
