On another note: One of my favorite weird, random things that ever happened in 2K14 Universe mode: the Universe kept trying to randomly put my CAW against John Cena but I kept editing it to put him in tag team matches with his, at the time partner Rey Mysterio. After 6 weeks at SummerSlam, the Universe decided to put my CAW in a match against Rey Mysterio. When I booted up the match, my dude had his normal entrance, but when it came time for Rey's, his music hit, but Cena came out carrying a bloody Mysterio, tossing him onto the entrance ramp before taking his place.

Yeah triple threat, fatal 4-way & all the other multi-person matches (MITB, Elimination Chamber, Six Pack Challenge, etc) definitely need to be added as rivalries along with being able to assign specific storylines to a rivalry for example, Faction vs Faction, Authority Figure vs Rebel, Best Friends Bitter Enemies, etc. in 2k22.

I’d love a mode like this: Territories Mode like gm mode but you can customize territories and compete either online or in single player. One answer. Be able to create your own universe and invite players in, akin to a franchise mode in any other sport game. Game has some kind of auto generated random storyline thing and the user controlled characters fit in how ever they fit in. You wanna be in a tag team with a buddy then turn on him middle of a match. Do it. You wanna hop on and see two people in your "universe" in a match and feel like standing ring side. Do it wanna be a special guest ref while two of your buddies fight for s title. Do it.

Heres what I want for wwe 2k22 universe mode and 2k22 in general 1. A way to choose who does the undertaker streak rivalry I have been trying to get my custom character to have a rivalry for since I saw u could and I still haven't done it. I had the option when I was bored just simulating to royal rumble then the next wrestlemania but when you agree to the option it just auto picks the superstar for you. 2. Let you pick your character for the royal rumble This was a option in the older games but we didn't get it in the 2k20, i want to do the rumble as someone i choose not pick from the 3 different undertakers and mr McMahon. 3. Character unique cut scenes and matches This is similar to what you said but I would like if it actually impacts the matches as well. I think it would cool having firefly funhouse matches for all the characters ( not just in universe mode but have it as a match type.) It goes back on having the fiend or bray torture someone and go back through their past. Having buried alive matches like undertaker and AJ styles did ( I forgot the name of it) just something else that adds to the game. Have the boogeyman show up as he interrupts and scares superstars. 4. Have managers do more I think this should be similar to how paul hayman and brock Lesnar promos work in 2k20, where your chosen manager will talk for you and you have your manager do stuff in your entrance and victory instead of just standing there awkwardly. 5. Have a way to form 3-4 man tag teams I know you can already do this but I mean have it be available through promos not just going through the settings 6. Bring back road to wrestlemania These were the best parts about the old wwe games and it annoys me that they removed it. 7. Have a way to pick the survivor series captains and their team I think this would be great for universe mode you pick your Captains at a earlier point and you have to choose your team but you need to go through and convince all of them to join, if the potential teammate likes the captain all you have to do is ask and they'll join, if the potential teammate doesn't know them the superstar have a way of convincing them: asking nicely, doing a match, offering help at a later date, or just a simple promo situation, if the potential teammate is a enemy of the captain have it the captain have to prove why they should join and have the potential teammate only join to betray later on stuff like that. This should also have different options depending on the captains if its between shows you need go choose from those shows superstars, if its between the authority and the fans have convincing be different. There should also be unique convincing like if you want brock Lesnar or Roman reigns you have to convince Paul and stuff, if you the undertaker you have to spend time searching in a graveyard or something, if you want the fiend you have to convince bray and the fiend. 8. Have a way to focus on certain superstars Some players only want to play as one character so it should be a option to choose to focus on them and auto simulate other parts. Should also be optional to focus on multiple superstars at a time or maybe championships. 9. Have the announcers say stuff about custom characters This could take a lot of effort but it would be nice to here the announcers just go " this superstar has won 7 royal rumbles so they've got stamina' or "hes won against legends like the undertaker and steve Austin so hes not doing down without a fight" this could also be used non custom superstars just so you feel like your matches mean something 10. Add the mixed match challenge It was one of my favourite parts in the myplayer so I want it in universe mode. Have dialogue or cut scences as well for different teammates. Like if your team with a hall of fame, or someone with a manager or the fiend/kane/undertaker 11. Mid match alliances and team ups I think this would be great for the game. During a match you can team up with someone so you can work with them to stop the other superstars. This work great in the royal rumble or 6 man matches. It wouldn't matter if u were allies or not but if they weren't there would be a higher chance of them not teaming or betrayal These are the ones I could think of but I like them If you somehow see this comment so I can se agree or u think something should be changed. I think wwe on just playing regular matches is boring but the storylines and cut scenes are a important part of what makes it better and I hope 2k realise this.

Character specific cutscenes would be great if they could let CAWs use them too, and make some original ones for CAWs to use. CAWs got the shaft pretty bad in WWE 2K19, whereas 2K18 tried let character specific animations work for everyone (The Entrances I mean, if a CAW wore Asuka's mask, the game would recognize it as her mask and the entrance would take the mask off at the appropriate time.

WWE 12 hands down had the best Universe. Idk how each year after that it just got progressively worse. I remember once I had a rivalry with HHH while I was Orton, and HHH got injured in the match. He was out of action and wasn't playable for about 6 in-game months and as Orton I just feuded with other people in the mean time. HHH finally came back from injury by attacking Orton after his match and continuing where they left off. The game actually remembered which blew my mind.

Something I'd like to see is them giving us more control over a rivalry. I mean, it would be nice if we could decide what will happen, instead of the game deciding for us. Here's an example to give you all a better idea of what I mean: whenever you're about to start up a rivalry match, there could be a text box that will pop up saying "What would you like to happen in this rivalry match?", then there would be a list of options, such as assaults (if a rival is facing an ally of their rival, then they can join in), interference, a showing of mutual respect, etc.. It's something I would like to see so that we can have more control over a rivalry storyline, and we can get decide how that rivalry should end: do the rivals end it by showing respect to each other, or does the rivalry end with one rival hating the fact that they lost, hoping to one day to get back at their rival? As someone that enjoys creating storylines in Universe Mode, this is something that I would really love to see!

Warning (EXTREMELY LONG WINDED RAMBLE) Agreed with all of this. In a perfect wwe game for me - 1. Custom theme music for CAWS 2. AN extremely In depth create-a--story mode, type your own Promos, vignettes, Big match Signings/Showdowns before pay-per-views, matches that happen for a GOOD reason. Faction formings/break ups etc, side game options to further the storyline right before, during & immediately after the match that you can choose from to pull it all together and tell a proper story with rivalries 3. This may go with create-a-story, but building the hype around your CAW whether you created them or pulled them from the Community, I'm talking hype vignettes leading for weeks and give the option for a squash match debut to give them major attention. 4. Make Manager's great Again! They should be more than just entrance/ring ornaments...they should be integral to their "clients" career. They should be able to head factions, cut promos for wrestlers as well as interfere or talk to GM if there's one. 5. This is petty but I'd say allow Promos to be done in entrance gear, Street clothes etc. I never liked that just the wrestling gear was the only time we'd see promos unless we change their wardrobe to make it seem like they did it that way. 6. Better commentary. I know they can only do soo much but damn, it somehow got worse over time. No feeling just monotonous babble that doesn't even sync correctly most times. 7. Creation suite could use a revamp...it's honestly good but could be better. 8. More improved Gameplay. I personally love the sim style...but it should feel more seemless in execution of moves...and submissions should make an impact like a slam or strike if it's an actual finisher for a superstar. Sometimes, they SHOULD tap put on the first go (my take). Different moves should make different impacts but signatures & finishers should be the deciding factors most times...not just calling cards. And the matches should register more appropriately. The more moves done shouldn't just determine whether or not you had a classic, how you put combos together and execute should be made a thing, timing, defense, offense...hell taunts..should all compliment one another. 9. Audience needs to be as immersive as possible. If you're putting on a 15-25+ min Classic then they should start reacting towards every near-fall or highlight moment after a certain amount of time differently. I rambled alot and I'm sure these are dreams in my head but damn...with previous gen of ps4, xbox & of course pc there was no reason Not to have these or at least 90% of it already in the game lol.

Better and more in-depth stat tracking would be wonderful for Universe Mode. W/L Records, Title Defences, etc. Also being allowed to predetermine a winner and watch the AI play out the match would be phenomenal, for those of us who like AI vs. AI competition. @@Reemdonn try to splice a heel promo for Monsoor. If you do, you’ll end up with every word sounding like they belong in a completely different situation. To try to make it not sound that awkward would take a lot of editing, to make a machine do all the work would not make for a good result and that is just one branching path for a single wrestler. When you have to do all the wrestlers voice lines, make new ones, AND make the game itself, I don’t see how it’s realistic to expect that kind of depth from a yearly release no matter what technology they would use.

I think WWE'13 had the best Universe Mode because it was just as good as WWE'12 but they added branching storylines that allow you to choose what you wanna do within a cutscene. The problem, however, is that they were super rare and I have no idea when or if they ever took them out in later games.

Even if it’s a hassle, I’d love to see either character specific dialogue for promos, or if they keep the generic lines, add some voice acting to it, to make it feel more alive. I just want the mode back where I could pick animations based on a scenario, and type what the wrestler were gonna say. The announcers were gonna say. This whole list, and you still lacking what would actually help Universe mode. Remember create a story, implant Create A Story within Universe mode and allow us to pick whatever cutscenes we want to use whenever we want on whatever shows we desire to. That lets us create our own storylines weekly. While they can still give the option to have cutscenes show up randomly for lazier people who don't want to manually select the cutscenes and create the storylines themselves from scratch.

What about mid cutsecne options? like let's say that u beat a random person in a match... hmm, cm punk just beat undertaker, suddenly their rival has come to take advantage, let's say Kane, during the cutsecne after kane went in the ring, u have the choice to save undertaker, or leave him and now you will either have a new ally or a new rival, both like helping Kane beat undertaker more, then u would have a new rival AND a new ally.

They should do a thing were you interrupt someone's entrance during a normal match, but attack him before he reaches the ring so ring bell doesn't trigger, so match doesnt start and you can beat them up with weapons, and match starts after you get him in a ring, or a cutscene shows there is no contest, or like 50/50 chance. Because now If you attack and use weapon you get DQ, but the match haven't even started yet, in real wwe you don't get DQ'ed before the match starts

I'd like for them to have a section for unused superstars you can put them in there they don't pop up in the mode when setting up matchs. Same for if I'm setting up matchs for raw no smackdown stars are listed. Just Raw. Or just nxt or smackdown would be a huge time saver.

After career mode universe mode is the only mode I play so they need improvements like superstar shake up I hate doing superstar shake up by remembering who’s on raw and who is on smackdown because then I have the same person on raw and smackdown and it’s a lot of work

Ah good ol Universe Mode, it was once actually fun with my personal favourite version in SmackDown vs Raw 2011 I just had the most fun with it. 12s while good removed some stuff I really liked like attacked superstars in cut scenes no longer had damaged health whereas in SvR 2011 getting the attacked cutscene damaged you big time, It actually gave me my favourite all time Universe Mode moment in my very 1st PPV It was Edge vs Cena (Also another thing loved about the 1st Universe mode was it was the only game to have a truly working ranking system complete with no1 contender matches) and Edge took Cena out from behind, then the match begin and as Cena was damaged and Edge hit the spear and won. It was just awesome. I really think the only chance Universe Mode has of been halfway decent going forward is if it gets a complete reworking as the latest modes just haven't been good, the amount of setup needed to just get things playable is ridiculous whereas with SvR2011 you just played it, There was no need for exhibition or play now mode, Universe was always there and was so much fun. The later incarnations have just been bad and lacked a lot of the fun so hopefully WWE 2K22 will have an all new Universe mode maybe even a different name with GM mode elements but hopefully whatever we get will at least be halfway decent that can be built upon for the future.

@GBProductions84 2k19+2k20 (and 2k18 a bit) were just a one way Storyline with no choice at all... If it is something like 2k20... Than 2k should honestly scrap it

I think they should bring back road to wrestlemania for epic stars. Drew Mcintyre and Roman Reigns could be the top cover stars or the feind could have Mr. Mcmahon's svr cover look.

I would like to see the option to pick anyone in the game for GM and more backstage, prematch, post match, and draft storylines. Just constant storylines and GM choices. You know, bring out some of the realism in Universe Mode.

i played 2k19's universe for a couple of weeks and i got really bored of how repetetive the cutscenes and stories are , i just don't understand how is wwe '12 which came out 7 years earlier than 2k19 have such a deep and enjoyable branching universe mode

I want auto camera swap on combat, like when you doge a movement it zoom in the players face dogging the punch in slow mow or something like that and when you make an OMG, in the reply there is a different camera angle so it makes it more like a real WWE event

I want a lot more things but one thing I'm looking to is if a superstar is in a really good form they should have a title opportunity at raw or smackdown and not wait a whole month for the next ppv so basically more title matches in the week in week out shows edit: they should also had more save options for example if Randy Orton is getting beat up by the new day then there should be more options for another superstar to come in and save Orton

What if, in the Royal Rumble winner promo, there's an option to go after The Undertaker? A way for that superstar to stake their claim in your universe, they can go after any of the 3 Champions or The Undertaker as that final 4th option. Could be cool and bring some variety!

They should include the draft on universe mode and include Live shows aka house shows on universe mode. They should do more tag team break ups as well such as Xaiver Woods turning on kofi Kingston.

Better storylines and rivalries and cutscenes better face scans, the think with the injuries but it needs to have better visual injuries and if you decide to have an injured wrestler on the show it should be visible , I believe one of the old games may have had a mission where you had to pin a guy while injured (I could be wrong) but it could be something. But better matches would be good, and you should be able to have a TLC match without having to go for the briefcase

Unpopular opinion but Universe Mode and GM Mode are overrated. I think story designer replacing Universe Mode is what should happen.

They should add everything old features and keep on updating every week or month or something and add old teams and ledgends they should just add everyone in my opinion
