Similar to 2K22, there’s a bit of a difference but it’s not like going from PS3 to PS4. The PS4 version still holds up and looks amazing to the point you don’t feel like you’re totally missing out by not having it on PS5.

Ps5 has a beautiful reflections on the ramp, on ps4 reflections doesn't work like that, so that's a big difference

@@emirhanproduction8516 A little disappointing when 2K the same company that makes the NBA games has a completely different graphics system for the PS5 than for PS4 since 2K21. And just like WWE 2K23 (& 2K22), graphically NBA 2K21, 22 & 23 look really good on PS4 & Xbox One but when you look at the PS5 & Xbox Series X/S versions you actually wish you could play those versions instead because the graphic difference is immediately noticeable. But with WWE 2K22 & 2K23...Honestly if no one points out this is the PS4 version and this is the PS5 version, I obviously wouldn't know.

I remember when next gen was actually next gen SVR 2007 looked insane on Xbox 360 (Next gen) from ps2. And WWE 2k15 looked insane on Ps4 (Next gen) from ps3 versions. now today the graphics gap is closed. looks very similar.

The graphics on 4 only difference is lighting not always as strong as the 5 version in some areas

Understand this graphics in all consoles including next gen and last is almost at its peak diminishing returns. These new consoles only working on resolution,Ray tracing, foliage,Frame rate, I have a ps5 and PS4 there isn't much of a huge jump between any game graphically anymore..... Before most people say "it is!!!" what you seeing is high resolution and high res texture its not a huge graphical leap.

I feel like the custom characters are waaay better looking. They actually look like superstars in comparison to the actual character models. At least that's how it looks to me on PS5.

They both look great! I did notice in Cody's entrance though that on PS5 you can see the reflection of his feet on the floor whereas you cannot see it on PS4.

That kind don't make since because is in the Spiderman ps4 game you can see Spiderman reflection running up a building and sun light reflection

​@@christopherswain6492 Actually it's not a real reflection in PS4 Spiderman. It's a model reflection that is placed on the buildings. I have Spiderman on both PS4 & PS5. The PS5 is capable of ray tracing which allows for real time reflection. If you look at it on the PS4, you'll notice that the buildings reflected in the glass aren't actually what you're in front of. On the PS5 however they are.

@Jon Cooney the ps5 is an amazing console. I will never say it is not, but I will always say that 2k never pushed the ps4 to it limit and I don't think they will push the ps5 to it limit

I think this generation of console's emphasis is more on performance and quality of life increased rather than huge leaps in graphical fidelity. Sure they look almost identical, but is ps5 getting 2x the frame rate? What about loading speeds?

Graphics wise theres no big difference. BUT performance wise there is a big difference. Especially online matches when you do 5 man matches or more, its is way to laggy and low frame rates while on next gen it really is fluent. Now, we cant test it that much sadly because of the severe server issues wich makes online unplayable, but performance wise it is a big difference

I don't think 2k has upgraded their engine enough for there to be a big difference. This is essentially a last gen game at it's core.

I wonder how much the last gen consoles are holding back any fidelity for current gen. Because they look near identical... unsure if that's because they want the game to feel as close as possible across all platforms or they've only adjusted lighting on next gen and not given it a complete overhaul due to lat gen limitations

Lighting change is do to Ray tracing which is a next gen only feature. However the lighting of the whole game did change compared to last year's title for all consoles

Well, how can ps4 hold it back when it is not pushing it to it limit and I don't think it will ever push the ps5 to it limit because the ps4 can run read dead 2 and can run games like uncharted 4 that 6 years old that still looks amazing or spiderman ps4

It's on the developer. They haven't upgraded their engine to make use of next gen hardware fully. Otherwise there would have been a big difference between the two.

Honestly not that much of a major difference...if you're getting PS4, you should be fine. It's actually damn impressive how similar they both look. Any differences are subtle and something the average gamer wouldn't even notice or look for.

Not being disrespectful, but they have never pushed the ps4 pro to it limit and I have seen much better game that came out on the ps4 that steal can hold it on against ps5 games uncharted 4 and uncharted collection and spiderman ps4 and god of war

When the PS4 console was released, the difference was very clear in E Sports games from PS3 But now I don't see any difference between PS4 and PS5 ..... PS4 is still kicking after 10 years!!!! that's insane wow

The PS5 version just looks a tiny bit crisper and I can see the ray-tracing with Cody's reflection on stage. But apart from that I can't tell any difference. The PS4 is almost too identical, impressive.

the biggest difference i noticed was Reflections and lighting, especially with the fire on tables you can notice a difference.

Yeah, side-by-side you can spot the difference, colors are more vivid on next gen, but just playing the game the old gen still looks great

Okay i know im super late when it comes to comments for this particular video , but what it’s basically saying is the only difference between ps4 and 5 when it comes to this game is how it looks ? Also if my ps5 downloaded both the ps4 and 5 versions of this game does it take up a lot of space , and can i delete the ps5 version cause my ps4 version still has all my progress and saved data on it .

Much difference with lighting and reflection on the ramp also, idk if the moving billboards are stopping with PS4 but continiously plays in PS5. Thats what I noticed once youre in gameplay. Also, adjusting refs are still not working properly in Universe. You need to reassign them all damn time.

It's like that when it comes to sports games, there is a big difference between ps4 and ps5, but when it comes to action adventure or fight games, ps4 and ps5 have almost the same graphics. Like god of war ragnarok horizon ferbidden west almost same graphics

Both run in 60fps. In some matches especially 8 man you get frame drops if you ain't on PS4 pro.. The entrances on all versions run in 30fps

It depends on games if XBOX One and PS 4 Can Handle For an Example if Rockstar Test if Xbox one or PS 4 Can Handle GTA 6 very well Then they will release for PS 4 and Xbox one If it can't the game then they will release for PS 5 and Series X S and PC only If PS 4 and Xbox one can handle newer games then the company will release the game to PS 4 and Xbox one

Things I miss in WWE Games Random Happenings like unlocking things not on base game in Universe Mode Draft in Universe Mode Contender Matches in Universe Mode Remember the days that gave us cool things like awesome physics that stem from slamming someone on steel steps or a ladder on the ground. Aiming your finisher to slam someone on steel steps or a ladder... Fighting Styles that made your character a powerful god for a moment in SVR 2008... 😂 In 2k15 the characters and movement looked like you were watching wrestling on tv 😂 2K17 WWE 2k downgraded it's models and the gameplay fell back to just being arcade. 2K19 was the only time we could draft wrestlers to brands in universe mode and characters were labelled under Raw or Smackdown Live if on assigned to a brand. Sticking with 2K Games My Career featured the return of free roam backstage and improved backstage areas and interactive areas since 2K17... 2K18's my career had no actual voices in the damn mode instead you had to read off a teleprompter like in the promo engine in universe. John Cena found his deeper voice for 2K19 My Career 2K20 had a fantastic trailer buildup, backstage brawl areas but Visual Concepts focused all their stuff on the looks and feel of the characters they forgot to made characters INTERACT WITH THINGS WITHIN BRAWL AREAS BACKSTAGE
