WWE 2K24 COULD BE SPECIAL!

WWE 2K24 trailer and news just dropped and holy, what a bomb. Not only did we get conformation that 40 years of WRESTLEMANIA IS BACK! But even more bombs were dropped! New features, new match types, details on new mechanics, new settings. SO MUCH NEWS and 90% of it is looking promising. In this short video I will discuss my thoughts and reactions to all the footage we just got from the WWE 2K24 trailer and all the news that was dropped on WWE.COM!

Apparently, the number of signature and finisher slots have been raised from 2 per wrestler to 5. This means that if certain moves have multiple variations in terms of position or animation, we can put them on the wrestlers without having to swap them out as much. Nice small detail I just saw. Unfortunately, we will not be getting at least one match from every Mania. The number of matches in showcase mode is confirmed to be under 30, which sucks. 2K just doesn't seem to care much about Showcase mode wrestler restrictions or not.

Im personally excited to play as Superstar Billy Graham in the game. How it took this long to put him in the game is unknown to me. I hope we can get some other legends that haven't been featured much like Terry Funk, Bob Backlund, Mr. Wonderful, Wendi Richter, Hacksaw Jim Duggan, among others.

I do not know, but it seems like 2k wanted to go all in with this game. A showcase so special, 40 years of the show that changed wrestling forever, could be an opportunity to make special deals with single wrestlers, like Edge, Jericho, Bryant, Big Show and Flair. The other companies could agree because would be a sort of advertisement. And also as a sign of gratitude not to the WWE, but to Wrestlemania.

I really look forward to playing certain bangers from the attitude and ruthless aggression era's that we didn't get a chance of playing in 2k14 like Wrestlemania 17 - undertaker vs triple h Wrestlemania 19 - Brock vs Kurt Wrestlemania 20 - Undertaker vs Kane (just to hear slow chemical 😂) Wrestlemania 21 - Michaels vs Kurt & Undertaker vs Orton Wrestlemania 22 - Angle vs Mysterio vs Orton I would definitely love to play through some of these along with the other great ones we got in 2k14 for the respective Mania's. One other match that I am honestly looking forward to playing is Wrestlemania 31 Roman VS Brock (just to revisit the Heist of the Century).

I’d love to see more stuff like the legendary trilogy of the TLC matches between Hardy’s, E&C, and the Dudley’s from Attitude Era! 2K24 has the potential to be straight up legendary. While yes, it will suck to see certain legends not be included due to contracts, I’m hoping 40 years can still be fun. Also the fact that Special Referee, Casket matches, and Gauntlet matches are coming back, HELL YEAH! Also the fact that the Ambulance match is making its console debut after being a DS exclusive for so long, I swear this is gonna be so fun😁. I would love a wwe competitive mode similar to fight night champion, where you can win matches until eventually you become number one contender for the title, and whoever is champion has to log on to defend their titles or else they vacate it. Also the rankings for players can be based on title wins, how long they was held and how good is your general win loss record. I'm not expecting it to be perfect but it coulr be refreshing for wwe and fans who want to really feel like a champion fighting players across your country and such

I genuinely hope they bring back a lot of features that have been gone like ultimate controls, dripping blood, better physics like in ladder matches you can fall on the ropes depending on how the ladder is angled and smoother animations for example if your opponent is chasing you and your about to enter the ring they should have an animation to stop you and you should have an animation to reverse it also more reversal animations… as far as the wrestlemania mode hopefully instead of getting in game/ real life cutscenes it should all be in game allowing you to pull off the iconic moments in gameplay and have them carry on to the gameplay in general outside the mode

Rey Mysterio and Cena's was just so disappointing. For me, what they are going to do is put the main rivalries that end in Wrestlemania. Like Stone Cold and Bret, Stone Cold and The Rock, Bret vs HBK maybe...I really doubt they're going to give us 40 matches in the showcase.

Last wrestling game I played years ago was SvR 2010 and that was fun. Spent so many countless hours, the perfect game with my brand new ps3 at the time. Then I fell out of wrestling for 13 years. Cue 2023, I had just gotten 2k22 and man was I amazed with how they finally fixed the combat system back to the old standard. (There was a brief period where I tried 2K15 years ago but I just could not break out of pins. That system was whack.) And 2k23 was just as great. Even began watching wrestling again, with my girlfriend no less! We'd started watching just as Jey uso left the blood line. And what a way to start, after wanting to see it live for years as a kid we went and got the live tickets. My first ever live WWE event, and I was hooked back in to that childhood passion. But anyways, I'm sure we'll probably want to get our hands on a copy of 2K24.

Still playing my universe mode which I set up in the attitude era.. start in 1997 I'm going into wrestlemania 2000 now lol also I enjoyed the my rise and even the show case believe it or not(I know it's wasn't that popular).. I been having a blast though..exported both the female and male my rise CAWs and created 1 more dude and made a tag team plus a woman manager.. and threw them into the attitude era.. now 3 years in they are all 3 singles competitors but still escort each other to the ring and are all buddies lol even made them entrance videos and stuff.. I feel like there's a lot of fun to be had in universe if u create your own fun. I never put the game down this year.. 22 I honestly put down after a few months and 20 I played for like a week before switching right back to 19 lmao but 23 was awesome imo

How many years have we been waiting for a simple Special Guest Referee match type? Im so glad we are FINALLY getting it back. Hopefully they can expand the GM mode too. Make it just like SVR 2006 GM mode.

i heard word that super finishers are enhanced versions of superstars regular finishers and it cancels out the resiliency and example for what could be a super finisher would be the 3 cross rhodes for cody

Hopefully they fix the game play I hate how arcade the past two games are with all the punches you need to throw and how they tie up to do any move. Bring back 2k19 gameplay
